VY,Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson all were in their own ways demanding in different ways and teams overlooked all the bad personality traits for a long time until each were at the point in their careers where teams could take it or leave it and lots of teams now don't have to take all the issues that come with hiring these players so pretty much all teams now don't think its worth having them on their team.

Moot point. I do not think he could be good in the CFL.

    Yup.

See here's how NFL franchises work. If youre not making THEM look good, youre expendable. NFL owners feel players are a dime a dozen, so unless youre Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, you're ass is grass if you're not careful. Cause some impressionable kid out there is going to assume a players actions reflect the same views of the team he's on. And teams dont like that so they cut the problem children and keep on trucking.

Why? Bigger field, less talent. He'd learn the rules and be starting in no time.

It's just a matter of him putting his ego away and making the move. He's probably too stubborn to do it though, so yea it is a moot point.

Talent is not his issue. Being a poor leader and having a poor work ethic is universal.

When you take away a mans livelihood, he's likely to take it back with a vengeance.

If Vince Young ever fully committed to being a QB, he could be damn scary.

I mean maybe it's not in him to swallow his pride and go to the CFL, he may be too stubborn, but IF he did...... He could be something again. And I think that plan is the way he should go.

To be perfectly honest, I would watch more CFL games if Vince Young was in the league.

I normally watch 4-5 a year, but if VY was playing Id watch more.

I resent the guy a little for screwing with my team, but I dont hate him.

Dividing the team in half between the coach vs the QB does not a good leader make.

Thats the most rational statement I've heard you make about VY.

There's a reason the entire team, not just the offense, plays better when he was in the game vs. when collins was in the game. Alex1939

Even Pac tried to get into the CFL (Could not get into the country because of his long criminal history). Tells you something eh. Pac was willing to work hard and be a man. VY, much like Jamarcus, just wants to gravy train back to the NFL and expect everything to be good for him.

Heck, I would go see him play when his team went Hamilton or Toronto. Would be even better if he played for Hamilton or Toronto............................... I would wear my Jake Locker number 10 jersey

    :biggrin2:
