    I always remember.

If San Antonio, Indianapolis and OKC (small markets) can put championship caliber teams on the court, Memphis has no excuse. Granted small market teams outside of the Spurs rarely win anything in the NBA.

When franchises like New Orleans, Indianapolis and Tampa Bay can win Super Bowls, the Titans have no excuse.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes raise the cup, Preds need to get with it.

I'm completely with you guys on this one. We've endured much hardship as Titan fans; and as Titan fans we invested so much immotionly. I believe it's our turn to start winning some GD games and a few championships. Lets beat other teams 51 to 7 etc. for once. Damn we deserve it!

Look at where the championship teams are located. When Nashville grows another two million people and gets an owner that knows how to choose coaches and FO, then we will have press. And who knows, what we have this season just might surprise a whole lot of people. I remain positive that we will do better than most on here and all the media think we will.

Pittsburgh is smaller than Nashville and they have the most rings.

It's not about the population. It's just ownership.

Green Bay and Pittsburgh are arguably the two most decorated franchises in the league. Market size is a non factor in the NFL with its shared revenue, salary cap, and reverse-record draft order.

There's no use in being sad about the media's non-coverage of the Titans. The Titans have not given anybody in the media, or outside the media, anything to talk about. Once the team has a hot topic, or is a hot topic, they will be talking about us.

But right now, nobody really cares about the Titans.. and honestly, them covering the Titans is almost as obligatory as ESPN having to mention the WNBA finals champions. They have to cover it a little bit, but will do it no more than they have to. I personally can't blame them.

The nation of football fans are simply not interested. We have strong feelings about the Steelers, Pats, etc. We will stay tuned when they speak about them.. but the inverse is not true with their fans hearing about the Titans. They simply don't care. We are not a threat, and they won't care til we are. And who is to blame for that? The Titans franchise.

This is exactly right. It's not like Indianapolis is some major U.S. market. The reason the Colts get tons of press is because they win games, are consistently in the playoffs and have superstar players. When the Titans meet those qualifications, they will be all over the media.

According to Wikipedia, Pitt's metro pop. in 1911 was 2,661,369; Nashville's was 1,607,890. That's almost a million more people. Also, Pitt has been a major city in the country since it's founding almost. It's only since the '60s that Nashville has attained any status at all. People judge by the past and the past is a country town vs. a steel town. But didn't I also say that
when Nashville grows another two million people and gets an owner that knows how to choose coaches and FO, then we will have press?
