With preseason football now underway, all of us armchair GM's can now begin scouting for the fantasy season.

I like to treat the month of August the same as I do February-April, but instead of identifying players for the Titans, Im looking for players for myself. When there's a game on almost every night, how could you not want to make sure no rock goes unturned.....

Not every fantasy season goes as planned, sometimes guys go down and you need a player that week. I make sure to use this time of year to cover my ass so when my top RB is on the shelf, I can just waltz on over to the waiver wire and pick-up so and so.

Last year I was able to recognize dozens of guys that could have saved my season. Luckily I only needed help from 4 of them.

I play some of you guys in fantasy football every year, so this valuable info Im willing to pass along could be used against me, but for the greater good of Titans Nation, I'll share my insight to help a fellow Titans fan beat say a Steelers fan in FF.

So without further ado, I bring to you Joseph Randle back-up RB for the Cowboys. Right now Randle isn't worth much (so dont draft him), but you give starting RB DeMarco Murray a couple of weeks standing next to Tony Romo and he'll be out with something wrong. Then you can swoop in and look like a genius cause I hooked you up with Joseph Randle.

Keep up with this thread as I'll keep filling it up with fantasy gems as the preseason continues.

Today I only have the 1 to offer as there has only been the one game last night, but stay tuned, better names will come soon.

Randle is a good one. Especially with Murrays injury past. Tanner looks good too though, he's got to win that #2 spot to hold any fantasy value.

    Here's my super sleepers.

RB Sleeper: Zac Stacy. Most of you will be familiar since he's a Vandy guy. Currently #3 on STL depth chart, behind Pead (2nd round in '12) & Richardson (7th rounder in '12). Pead is suspeneded game 1. Both Richardson & Pead are speed guys, Stacy is the goalline power runner. They start the year against Arizona, whom finished 28th in rush defense last year. If Stacy has one good game, look for him to take advantage -- like what Alfred Morris did last year.

WR Sleeper: Aaron Dobson. 6'3 210 WR w/ 4.4 speed, 2nd round pick of the Pats. Gronk is hurt. Hernandez is in jail. Welker went to Denver. They signed Amendola (slot) & Michael Jenkins. Jenkins is no more than a 500 yard guy, Dobson has potential to be the #1 WR, with Tommy Boy throwing you the ball - you'll get your stats. His average draft spot is 147.2 (via ESPN Mocks) & ESPN ranks him as #63. Late round steal.

TE Sleeper: Rob Housler. Projected as the 23rd best TE. #1 TE for Arizona. Was 3rd in receptions with Arizona, with terrible QB play. He was 6'5 250 w/ a 4.55 and 37" vert at the combine.. physically a gem and entering his 3rd year. Arians loves the TE position, especially in the red zone. Palmer had Brandon Myers from a no-name to a top-10 fantasy TE last season in Oakland. Plus, you got Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and Andre Roberts on the outside, opening up the middle.

I know every sleeper, so this isn't news to me.

If he's there in the final few rounds, I'll consider taking him. But I have my eyes on better sleepers - who won't be sleepers when I pick them. You'll be like "how the hell did this dude fall so far?!"

I can say that I successfully picked Alfred Morris last round in my league last year. Boom!

    Yea... can't really top that.

Not really sure who my best drafted sleeper was, but I've done wonders with the waiver wire.

What's funny is I ended up dropping him before the season. But then picked him back up after week 1.
