I fear anytime he heaves the ball 20+..lol. He just doesn't seem confident or consistant, and our WR's crappy hands lately aren't helping. Thank god Delanie Walker is back, because that should help him and free others up a bit.

It's not his deep balls I've always been concerned about its his outs and timing routes. He hasn't showed a lot of consistency yet. I think he's definitely improving as a passer.

Hoping to see an even better performance this weekend against the Falcons. It will be a good last gauge for our team before the season. The Bengals beat the Falcons and the starters should be playing through the half.

    YAC is huge

as much as I loved McMVP he did not normally give his recievers much chance at YAC. IMO it was his main fault as a QB. It was telling when NOD came in and was running the same plays, but he would hit the recievers in stride giving them chances at YAC.

YAC is definitely important. Thats why I don't mind seeing the short quick passes right now because we have some explosive players that can get YAC.

But honestly Jake did a good job yesterday of allowing his recievers a chance for YAC, even on some of his deeper passes (12-15yds down field)

If I remember the play Kendall was open underneath for the first. It was a good throw though Pacman just made a good play on the ball

Yea he was... this was the only problem I had with the pass. He had a wide open guy for the first down and you can't miss that.

The pass itself was very good... just wasn't the right decision.

Cool chart, nice to see Jake spreading the ball all over the field.

I really like the couple of plays where he stepped up in the pocket and make accurate passes downfield.

I look forward to see everything work together with CJ and Shon Greene and the full playbook.
