Another stupid decision on part of the F/O and a now forgotten Reinfeld. Letting Cortland Finnegan go was a terrible move, and don't even start with the money because we had plenty of it at the time to retain him. Alterraun Verner is a very good nickel back and "at the moment" best option as one of the two outside corners. Jason McCourty is also a solid number 2 outside corner. Verner is actually an upgrade from what Vincent Fuller was for us as the nickel and should be playing that position. McCourty actually played better opposite Finnegan and being that free agency is now paper-thin regarding the position, this is another learning lesson that needs to be learned within this organization regarding "keeping the right players."

Jared Cook will be another example of this soon.

I just still can't believe we saw both Nnamdi and Brent Grimes on the market for dirt cheap and said "No thanks".

There isn't a single player that I wouldn't give up on this team in a package for the entire starting secondary of Seattle. Best secondary in the league easily

    Yea, they're all studs.

Everyone keeps saying "oh well since Harvin is out for the year (he might be back by November) the Seahawks won't be very good." What a load of garbage. They're still the best team in the league in my eyes. Maybe that's because I am in love with Russell Wilson, but if you look at their team top to bottom there is no denying it is one of the best. Their only real weakness is at LB, but I'd say their LBs are similar to ours - young with a lot of promise/upside.

Last I checked they were 11-5 and one of the best teams in the second half of the season last year. They added Bennett and Avril to the DL and Winfield to their secondary... yet because Harvin is out, they're not going to be good. Okay... keep sleeping on Seattle like Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

Here I go defending the Seahawks like they're the Titans... well, I claimed them as my #2 team midway through last season, so yea... I'm a fan.

I too claim them as my second team. Their defense is stronger with Bennett and Avril and last I checked they didn't have Harvin last year

100% sure. Once we took Warmack, I had to jump aboard... no reason to stay a sour grape.

In other news, Richard Marshall just got cut (due to salary, not play) -- anybody interested?

Yet... Verner is more solid than that #2 you're speaking of.

    Hmm.
