So I started noticing we have been parting ways with alot of cats we've drafted... Here's a little list of what's happened

    Khalid Wooten (6th rd)
    Markelle Martin (6th rd)
Scott Solomon (7th rd plus trade pick)
    Jamie Harper (4th rd)
    Zach Clayton (7th rd)

Hope this isn't a trend. 6/7 rd or not. Some of these need to be depth picks.

It's not that bad. If you look at the positions we still have mid to low round picks filling out depth pretty well.

Mike Martin, Karl Klug, Cody Sensabaugh, Lavar Edwards, Tommie Campbell, Alterraun Verner.

Can't hit on all of them.

With 6/7th rounds.. it happens. We haven't been a good draft team in a loonnggg time, so I'm used to it. But I'd rather the team admit they made a mistake with a player and let them go than keep the on the team and toss them on special teams when it's clear to everybody they aren't quality players.

That's true. But I'm only pin point the last three years when Webster has been at the helm. (2) officially.

It's bad news when you trade a pick to move up and the guy you select is cut after one year.

Honestly, I'd rather cut the scrubs sooner rather than later. No use holding a roster spot for a guy you know sucks in hopes of a miracle. Every team misses on late round guys. So I actually respect them for admitting failure instead if being hard-headed about it.

Sure the Solomon deal looks bad on the FO. But at the end of the day he was a late-round flier. There was a reason he was still available in the 7th round to begin with. Doesn't surprise me much that Reinfeldt was still around when that move was made though.

For sure. I just don't like to see picks go to waste.

I understand the draft isn't a science and mistakes are made. Just hope these mistakes stay to the late round picks

I respect that Webster can admit he was wrong. Solomon looks out of place at LB, good too see our GM has no agenda and can cut guys hes tied to.

One of the few serious posts TE has ever made, and it doesn't get high-fived. lol

But when he talks about the weirdest sh*t imaginable... instant high-fives. haha
