Locker didn't look good today. For every good play he had, he had at least 1 bad one - some will argue more.

That said... what was up with our playcalling?! The Titans ARE a running team... and yet... we saw Jake throwing the ball left and right out of the gate. I'm sorry, but that's too much pressure to put on a QB that is already "on the hot seat".

I'm not sure what Loggains was doing, but he SHOULD have gotten the run game going, then peppered in Jake.

We need Jake to be a confident, consistent QB. I know many don't want to hear this, but we need him to be a game manager - at the very least.

It looked like Loggains was trying to defeat Pitt WITH Jake - I like Jake, wearing his jersey... but he is not a game-winning QB, at the moment. He might be as time progresses... just not now.

The playcalling needs to work with the team the Titans have, not "against" it. That will help Jake to settle down, in my opinion.

Hard to disagree with anything you said after watching today's game.

I'm just ready for a normal pocket passing QB.. chasing mobile QBs is tiresome, I'd rather have accuracy and consistency than the occasional scramble for 1st down.

Passing game needs to improve, but this was a steeler's D which can be confusing. I think Jake had trouble settling in due to the uncertainty of where the blitzers were coming from.

He does still need to improve for sure, BUT he didn't turn the ball over, and converted a couple of critical 3rd downs ... sometimes thats all you need the QB to do in a game. As the year goes on we will see Jake carry this team to some victories, but today was all about the D

I'm not going to disagree with you... but when you have a QB in Locker's situation, you don't ask your QB to do what we saw Loggains call.

Give Locker a chance. If you want him to fail when his talent is questioned, you put the ball in his hands and force him to win the game by himself.

Call the game with the team the Titans have. Run the ball and show Jake that he's "not alone". Will he step up and become great? Doubtful... but you give your QB a CHANCE.

This playcalling was detrimental to a questionable QB - any questionable QB.

He isn't consistent enough to have wild throws in the first series. Get some dump offs or runs going and build up to the deep passes. They did a much better job of playing to his strengths but they still need some work.

This is not a Locker thread... maybe I titled it wrong... this is more about the playcalling of the game.

Fo realz. Not that I want to start beating this dead horse again but most SB-winning QBs aren't doing it with their legs.

    I'm a pocket-passer preferred guy.

I appreciate this new era of QB... but, give me a good pocket-passer all day.
