Think JH will get to play against the Cows? I was really looking forward to seeing him play in the coming weeks. He seems to have the skills. Why isn't he playing?

We only dressed 4 WRs last week, I expect 5 this week.

Because we plan on running the ball so much we decided to only keep 4 WRs active and thus Hunter and Preston were both inactive. I'm not certain that Hunter would even be our #5 WR. I think Preston out played him in the preseason.

Personally I like the idea of a 2WR set with Britt and Hunter on opposite sides. When the defense puts 8 in the box to stop the run then have Locker throw deep to the guy getting single coverage.

I keep telling myself we drafted this kid to play next year, so IDK if he dresses or not this week/month.

Well for them to draft him the way they did by trading up spots or whatever I thought he would be seeing some playing time. But I guess you have to earn that. Hopefully he will work hard in practice and continue to get better. Nice to know we have him in case someone goes down. Just hope he is up to the task if hid number is called. I think Gruden said that Hunter had too many dropped balls to draft him the way we did, inhis opinion. I hope JH proves the doubters wrong. Kid seems to have a great attitude. I wish him success.

He's young, gotta realize that. Young dudes take time to come around and learn the way things work.

If we're in week-9 and he's still MIA, then I might worry more. Our bye week will be huge for him to catch up, him missing all of OTA's is showing up now.

If we only throw to Britt once a game, he will surely be gone in the same way Cook left. Then it'll be Hunter's job to catch one ball per game.

Not many rookie WRs have a big impact their first year unless a team is forced to throw them in the fire right off the bat. He was drafted to replace Britt anyway.

Think he'll at least dress this week? I'd love to seem him contribute. My other rookie man-crush Robert Woods got his first TD on his first NFL catch.

Nope. Preston might though since he plays special teams.

I heard on The Zone Hunter had a good week at practice but he'd be the 6th active WR.
