Mooney? On the CBS broadcast it looked like Mooney missed his block when Battle missed on 4th and 1. It could have been Turner's man, but he was out of the replay shot and I havent rewatched the game yet.

I don't buy the rankings for Morgan, Brown, Locker, and Ayers but nothing else seems to out of line from what I've seen. I would take these ratings with a grain of salt though because I don't believe that football can be measured in statistics the way that baseball can be with sabermetrics; there are just too many parts that rely on each other to judge a play in a vacuum.

I hate these math nerd type stats.

This is football, not a math equation- and apparently this system of measure sucks.

He is playing through a high ankle sprain. At least he is out there playing and he isn't giving up big plays. He is doing his job, but he might be lacking that extra step to make big plays.

First of all, these are not my stats. These are PFF stats, the number 1 site that are used by many fans and many analyst. These stats are far in depth. They study film, EVERY player, EVERY play. The most in depth stats you see in football. From miss tackles, to miss blocks, to blocking, pass block, run block, miss catches, penalties, etc. You name it, they study it.

These are more accurate than anyone else. Yes, they are a mathematical type stats but they are true. They definitely don't suck.

I understand someone like Brown who is becoming a stud seems should have a higher rating. Well, he does in pass coverage but not so much in the run which lowered his overall play. That is the one attribute he is lacking, run stopping. Once he improves in the run then he'll be all around beast. There are times he gets out of his gap too quick cause of his speed which leads to open gaps for gains. Now I know someone like Griffin hasn't been so good in the last few years. Don't judge the past when in fact, 2 games he has done a solid job. No miss tackles and he has done good in the run and pass.

Like I tell everyone, stats never tell a full story because they simply don't. However, these stats are based totally on player's play and its closest it comes from a stat standpoint. From ALL aspects of the game.
