Bernard Pollard thought his hit on Texans receiver Andre Johnson on Sunday was clean.

    The NFL obviously disagreed.

Per Pollard, he’s been fined $42,000 by the league for the hit, which resulted in Johnson suffering a concussion. Pollard sent out this message via Twitter this morning on his account, @Crushboy31

“So @nfl said I did “everything right” but 42k later I get fined. Wow! It’s called football but they want 2hand touch”

Johnson took the hit from Pollard while making a catch near the end zone in the final minutes of regulation on Sunday. He was not flagged on the play. Replays showed Pollard initially made contact with his shoulder pads. He wasn’t sure how the NFL might react after the game, after Johnson didn’t return to the game.

“It’s hard for us as defensive players to pick our target, you know,” Pollard said. “It was a no call but we will see what the front office has to say.”

The NFL reviewed the play, however, and ruled Pollard’s hit was too the head and neck area against a defenseless player.

Johnson’s teammate, Texans tight end Owen Daniels, sounded off on Pollard’s hit, via 610 AM in Houston. He called the hit a “blatant” hit to the receiver’s head.

“I’ve never seen a more blatant blow to the head. A big miss by the officials, especially for a guy like Andre,’’ Daniels said. “I know you have to protect every player, especially someone like him.”

Oh f*** Andre f*** Daniels and f*** Goodell and his favoritism. Can we get this guy out of the league already. Does he have a twitter account. I'm sure if he did he doesn't control it anyway. The NFL needs to be blown up by hate mail right now and this doesn't need to go on any longer.
