The Titans’ offensive line will face the formidable task of moving a mountain named Muhammad this week.

Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson may not yet be a household name, but it looks like he’s well on his way to becoming one. The 6-4, 315-pounder already has three sacks this year, and in last week’s win over Buffalo, he posted six tackles, two sacks and three quarterback hurries.

Dating back to last year, Wilkerson – who was a first-round pick out of Temple in 2011 – has six sacks in his last eight games.

“He’s big, strong, fast and athletic, so that’s a good starting point,” Jets coach Rex Ryan said of Wilkerson, who posted 90 tackles in 2012. “He’s got the longest wingspan in the league. His arms are unbelievable. It’s unreal. It’s a very unusual length, and it’s not just the length, but the armspan. He plays with a great motor and is really coming into his own.”

Ryan didn’t hold back when it came to praising Wilkerson, who’s helped the Jets produce the third-ranked defense in the league through three weeks.

“J.J. Watt is clearly the number one guy, but I think (Wilkerson) is probably number two in the league,” Ryan said. “He made the second-most tackles in the league last year next to J.J. Watt, so he’s coming into his own.

“If he doesn’t go to the Pro Bowl, something’s wrong. There’s something wrong with the voting or something. He’s clearly a guy that is our main guy.”

They drafted Richardson to play the other end position. That's good planning.

Wilkerson would also be great as a 4-3 DT.

Surprised Wilkerson was not a higher pick. Few guys have that kind of size with 4.90 speed and he was a damn good player at Temple.

A comparable prospect to Marcel Darius who was the third pick in the draft.

Wilkerson & Richardson are both monsters. Those two will be scary for years on that defense. Now all the Jets need is a legit 3-4 OLB, then they'll have the Justin Smith/Aldon Smith duo on one side.

I see a below average yardage day from CJ, unless he breaks a big one. They bottled up CJ Spiller for 9 yards before he got hurt, although Fred Jackson busted out 72 yards on 7 carries, however he had one big 59 run (other 6 carries were for 13 yards). Jets also held to Doug Martin to a 2.7 YPC. Plus, the entire Pats team to a 2.3 YPC.

Boom or bust for CJ. Need him to bust the big one.

Too bad Chance has been manhandled in pass protection.

I felt that Richardson was the best DL in the draft this year.

Will be interesting to see how we attack them. I think we will spread the field and look for the best matchups against their #3 and #4 CBs. It won't surprise me to see more of Battle in the game to put a bigger body helping to stop the double A gap blitzes that are coming Lockers way.

Dowell is going to be challenged to call a great game.
