Swelling will better define capsular (cartilage) and ligament tears. Probably have hip joint injected with contrast dye also.

Ligament strain (non tear)= 4-6 weeks
Ligament tear = surgery and >10 weeks
Capsular tear = arthroscopy if small (6 weeks) and surgical repair if large (season)

Negative initial X-rays means no obvious (severe) break. That's good because that would be season ending and very difficult to rehab to level pre-injury. Could be minor "hairline" fracture revealed tomorrow or next few days as swelling and bone repair reveals location.

So we won't know anything definitive until the next day or two but no news thus far is good news regarding career ending injuries.

Just saying he wasnt protected as good as he could have been. So you cant really use that comparison as to a guy falling on his knee and hurting his hip when he has pads on. Thats an old person injury. I'm not calling him a p ussy I'm calling him injury prone.

I guess TitansWillWin is some sort of superhuman and all of these incidences would have no effect on him.

Freeman did that before he had Jackson also. I would see if they would take Britt for him. Worsr case scenario he flops. Best case is we can use one for a trade.

Man I sure do miss having Steve in these situations. You just knew that he would find a way to be on the field next week no matter how bad his injury looked.

If Freeman was a better QB then he would be starting today, not a rookie. I understand your point that he needs a change of scenery and I've always liked him but I would take Locker over him. Also I'm a mess right now between this and Breaking Bad haha

When a guy hurts his shoulder on a easy tackle and hurts his hip from falling on his knee, that means that he is injury prone. There is no other explanation.

Maybe Britt and a 6th for Freeman. Just get Britt off the roster would be good. Freeman to play backup and take over if Fitz sucks. Either way Freeman or Fitz is just the next placeholder until we draft the next QB.

What a sad end to the Locker era, especially when this season was looking so good. Such a sour note on the day.

Freeman isn't starting because Schiano is a dick and him and Schiano have had problems from day 1. Did you see Glennon today, he's not ready.

Locker isn't an option right now so that isn't the comparison I think he is making. Freeman and Fitz are options right now, I think most would agree Freeman is the better option now and has upside in the future pending Jake's physical health.
