If it only ends up as a 4-6 week injury then I think we will be okay this season even if we don't win any of our next three games. After our bye play @St.Louis, Jackonville, Indianapolis, @Oakland, @Indianapolis, @Denver, Arizona, @Jacksonville, and Houston. The games I bolded are ones we should win if we our defense keeps playing at it's high level which would put us at 8-8 if we go 3-4 into our bye week. The means we just need to take one away from Houston and Indy to get to 10-6 and possibly grab that 2nd wildcard spot.

Right. Judging by Locker's reaction on the ground, I would bet that Hip popped out at least momentarily. If it's true that they don't have the MRI results yet, it could be that the MRI tech told them he/she didn't see any/much structural damage but they are waiting for the official reading by the radiologist. Jake would have to have pretty much no structural damage at all to be able to play football 4-5 weeks after a hip dislocation.

Whenever I see a timetable like "4-8 weeks" I always assume it's going to be closer to the 8 than the 4. I'll be absolutely shocked (and thrilled) if he is back in 4 weeks.

I think it will be 8 weeks too, and how good he is when he comes back is yet to be seen. I am optimistic about that but I think he is going to play differently, thinking about getting injured again.

I was listening to 104.5 this morning - Wycheck said he was talking his doctor and the correct thing to do with any hip injury is to remain completley still and not move...apparently moving or trying to walk on an injured hip is the worst thing you could.

Locker, i guess, knew to stay perfectly still to prevent any further injury.

(insert injury prone comments you trolls)

I'm praying that we're just being super cautious and it's not a significant injury. C'mon 4 weeks!

Idk to make Locker look like some kind of genius and to paint him into some saint that this team can't win without..

He didn't move because it probably hurt. I doubt he was running through anatomy notes after that hit.
