I know its not the plan but i could be considered a conspiracy and that is what KB was thinking when he said hes getting the jared cook treatment.

One of the many ways wide receiver Kenny Britt is hurting the Titans this year is simply because the team feels compelled to throw him the ball when he’s on the field.

Based on results so far, it’s just not worth it.

In the four games he’s played, Britt has been targeted 22 times and caught just six passes, a 27 percent success rate that is way out of whack with his fellow receivers.

For comparison’s sake: Kendall Wright has been targeted 38 times and has 26 catches (68 percent success rate); Nate Washington has been targeted 38 times and has 22 catches (58 percent success rate); Damian Williams has been targeted 13 times and has eight catches (62 percent success rate); and tight end Delanie Walker has been targeted 24 times and has 16 catches (75 percent success rate).

You might think the reward for an actual completion to Britt might be greater than that of his fellow receivers, since he sometimes runs deeper routes. But that’s not true either, as his 8.7-yard average per catch is below all four of the other receivers mentioned above. Washington, for instance, is averaging 16.5 yards per catch, almost doubling that of Britt.

In addition, the more the Titans play Britt, the less time Williams spends on the field. When Britt sat with an injury against the New York Jets, Williams responded with his best game – catching five of the seven passes that were thrown to him for 53 yards. But in the three games Williams and Britt have both been active, the Titans have only thrown to Williams six times.

It’s probably not even worth rehashing the four penalties that have been called on Britt in his four games this season, nor his significant number of drops.

But I have a feeling that Britt’s drop on third-and-one yesterday – with the Titans trying to add to a 17-13 lead early in the fourth quarter – was probably the last straw for offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. It was a pivotal play, as it seemed to zap the momentum the Titans had gained by scoring 17 straight points and preceded Kansas City’s game-winning touchdown drive.

Britt spent most of the rest of the game on the bench, a spot he may well have to get more used to in the future.

I don't want KB to play another down for this team, he is a joke of what he could have been. I am sick and tired of this guy and all the sh** he pulls. He needs to go asap.
