The Chiefs opponents thus far.

This team is much, much, MUCH better than anything he ever had in Buffalo though.

Christ... let's give the guy a freaking chance folks.

 

That stat is meaningless when you're turning the ball over more than you're scoring.

You should know by now that we are 3-1 largely due to not turning the ball over once. Fitzpatrick averages close to 2 turnovers a game.

 

I am giving him a chance... it's just a really big blow to our team right now. I will be happy if we come out of these next three games with one win.

 

I'm unimpressed with the Chiefs this year as well but this game scares me a lot.

Alex Smith is a game manager but the problem is, so is Fitzpatrick.

Both offenses are going to play it very conservative and not try to turn the ball over.

The winner of this game is the one who will have the best running game and play the better game on defense.

Defensively we can go toe to toe with them, but I really think they're running game is much better than ours.

I think we beat them with Locker but with Fitz I'm worried.

 

Not sure what to make of Fitz, but everytime I hear this argument about how bad they are in Buffalo, I remember that he was a part of, and the QB of, that horrible team.

Buffalo sure does look a lot better without Fitzpatrick this year... I'll say that.

I agree. Their offense isn't exactly the Greatest Show on Turf, but their defense can dominate a game.

 

I'm worried as hell without Locker but I'm going to give Fitz a chance. This is a better team than Buffalo and I think we'll run a good passing game, but also have our WR's run "safe routes." Remember the Bills were convinced he was their franchise QB. He took more risks in Buffalo than he'll take over these next few weeks. Fitz shouldn't be the INT machine here that he was in Buffalo.

Now that's not to say I hope we run a lame passing game. But I do hope for a lot of 5-7 yard routes and get some YAC. We've been good at YAC this year. Put Nate & Wright into positions to make safe plays and gain more yards after.

Even with Fitz, I am inclined to say we're the best team the Chiefs have played. Back to the earlier debate, I think Houston is better than KC. KC are good though.
