You blitzed the Giants a lot less then I thought (I'm not counting blitzing 1 LB as a blitz). Course, you didn't need to with the Giants OL basically being a 2nd string unit. It'll be interesting to see how often and how big the blitzes are against us as Ryan is relatively new, but also very experienced.

I would expect a big play if you can get us to man up Pollard on Charles. I would expect to see brown man him up or if Pollard or Fokou is on him, they will rotate coverage or be playing zone. I think you're more likely to see a CB take Charles on the outside as long as Bowe doesn't become the slot. If your TE is the slot then I think you'd see Pollard or a LB on him. I would also expect you to see Wilson (3rd S) covering him in those situations on 3rd and long when we go to our pass D personel packages so Brown can blitz.

The Giants were missing many more players..4 out of 5 on the OL is I remember? Also missing there #1 CB, Tuck is not healthy and JPP is trying to get back into football shape so they are a shell of themselves right now. Your new TE's actually werent the problem blocking. The Giants front 7 played very well...especially Paysinger who single handedly took down Charles several times (and covered him some).

I'd agree Cooper played much better, but Cruz did get a lot of yards in the 2nd half and the refs definitely were'nt in the modd to throw PI flags. Several times Cooper had his hands on WR's 10-15yds down the field. Also, the Giants had a lot of drops that were BIG plays where your guys were beat.

Poe is a monster, but I think Casey is just as much of an impact player and frankly, Wilkerson on the Jets is probably the biggest monster this year so far. But yes, your front is playing really well and that includes your stud LB's. We kinda like our front 7 too!!!;)

I think it will be a great matchup!!! I see the Titans winning this one as we are at home.

    Goodluck to you guys!

I'm gonna start re-watching the Jets game tonight...specifically the run plays to see what happened there...did we miss blocks, did we get beat, did they have an extra defender, etc. I wanna see how our interior 3 did...specifically Turner.

Wright is too good to keep off the field in 3 WR sets and we may see more of them to see if the Chiefs take one of their good LB's off in place of another corner. I will expect to see a lot more bubble screens and crossing routes to Wright if the Chiefs play a ton of man coverage.

Swarm, have good run fits and tackle well!

Poe is going to kill Turner. I tried to tell you guys he was going to be a playmaker along the d-line. Guys that big, strong, fast and physical are just rare finds.

I agreed... and I wanted us to get him. I even predicted we would (at one point), but I didn't realize he'd go that early in the draft.

You guys make some great points. I agree that KC's offense is a work in progress. It is basically set up like Philadelphia's old early 2000's offense and they use Charles like Philly used Westbrook back in the day. We aren't going to force the ball to our receivers. Your CBs are too good. Last week, 28 of your 38 points resulted from turnovers. Kansas City does not turn the ball over.

The biggest difference between the Jets defense and KC's is that KC has really good OLBs. However, it is the same defensive system. KC just runs it more effectively because of those LBs.

If you could get Britt in the slot against Robinson that could spell trouble for the Chiefs. Robinson has really lost a step.

It's true we didn't blitz the Giants as much but, that's because they have an elite WR corps. and they can't run the ball. They really aren't very good.

It's also true that KC is untested on the road. Dallas was a good test for us and I agree they aren't as good as you guys.

I can't wait for this game. Best of luck.

I don't find Gut to be long winded in the least. Quite the opposite actually. He is a very concise poster and doesn't drone on unncessarily he just has a lot of good points to make. As far as the game goes I'm having recurring nightmares of Coty manning up McCluster or Charles. With Poe on Turner i think we'll find out just how badly a D linemen can manhandle an O linemen before he gets benched.
