I will give a slight edge on the front 7. But this year do not underestimate the Titans secondary. The 4-2-5 scheme Greg Williams is running with a lot is working well. It puts Michael Griffin in a position to best use his skills while minimizing his weaknesses. Same with the other two safeties George Wilson and Bernard Pollard. Aterraun Verner has been one of the best CBs in the league this year and Jason McCourty remains strong.

QB the Chiefs have a slight edge. Do not get too excited about Alex Smith. He is still the same guy who put out below-average production in SF despite being surrounded by amazing talent. At WR, Bowe is probably better than anything the Titans have. However the Titans have at 5 receivers that are better than the rest of the Chiefs receivers. Lastly, the Titans OL is far superior to the Chiefs OL.

    Really? How is that?

If thinking my favorite team is better, and giving reasons why they are is a disservice to the other fans of that same team, then I've been proudly doing disservice since 1984.

Really not trying to take anything away from their defense, as they have been lights out. BUT you should take into consideration their competition. Jags are EASILY the worst offense in the league (I mean, they're averaging 7.8ppg FFS). Philly has a very aggressive offense but they have turnover prone Mike Vick at the helm. And the Giants are leading the league in giveaways, by quite a significant margin. As for Dallas, I'm still not very impressed with them.

Of course you can only play the games you're scheduled. And again, I'm not trying to say their defense isn't good or anything like that. Just that there's a decent chance they look better on paper than they really are. They've played A LOT of mistake/turnover-prone offenses so far this season.

IMO we're easily going to be the most physical team the Chiefs have faced so far. Can't wait to see what happens.

Was watching espn this morning. Dawkins said if we had Locker he would pick us to win, but he's picking the chiefs because he's not sure in Fitz.

Well, we lost to the Texans. So you watched our worst game of the 4.

Any win in this league is a good win. No one here is saying the Chiefs are a bad football team. We're just trying to educate you on our team... since this is a Titans forum and all.

Well, here's how I'd look at it.

    Offense
QB - Push (both are solid, Smith doesnt turn it over as much but is more predictable)
RB - KC (Charles gets the nod 'til CJ has a CJ-like game)
OL - Titans (Titans dominate here as they are better at every position)
TE - Titans (Walker is better then any of your backups though McGrath played well last week)
WR - Titans (Bowe is the best, but we are good and have a lot of depth. Avery, your #2 was like our #4 when he was here)

    Defense
DL - Push (Both lines are good and do there jobs well. Poe and Casey even in impact)
LB - KC. KC has very good LB's (Houston has had an unbelievable start) but so do the Titans.
CB - Push. Both teams have 3 good CB's though we'll see if Flowers is available. No Flowers means Titans get the nod.
S - Push. Like WR, Berry might be the best S amongst the teams but the titans have good players and 3 of them and they all get used to their strengths.

    Special Teams
    KC

Of course, KC had 6 Pro Bowlers last year and only won 2 games so having Pro Bowl players doesn't mean much. And the list above doesn't mean anything until they step on the field and are utilized within their schemes.

One thing that hasn't been brought up is that Williams put a bounty on Alex Smith. I'm sure he will want some payback for that....
