Reynaud didn't give the peter call until the ball was already on the ground.

Forcing the other team to punt shouldn't be a ****ing adventure every time.

 

Me too.. Right now, I don't even feel like watching football..

As bad of a personal foul that was, defenders have to be smarter than that when you are so close to the sideline with QBs.. You know the refs will call it every time, unless it's on Locker.

 

Because not a single guy ran away from the ball. It wasn't just Williams standing there trying to block, there were three guys trying to block.

 

I get so nervous every time.. especially when Reynaud lays out for a ball five yards in front of him, or takes a big hit by 3 dudes as soon as he takes a step. Ridiculous.

 

and to think we almost got screwed on the punt return if they had not picked up that flag. they should have done the same with third down one. discuss it and pick it up. apparently they did not want to look like idiots by having to pick up a flag again.

 

come to think of it why doesnt every qb slow down before going out of bounds until a defender gets there and get hit and get the auto flag.

 

I would say I'm just assuming - and I shouldn't - but, it's Reynaud... I think we can safely assume he's in the wrong.

 

This is so damn frustrating. Locker would have won this game. Ugh

 

Completely disagree. When Fokou went for that tackle, Alex Smith still easily could have decided to dive or turn it inside. There is absolutely no excuse for that flag.

 

Actually, I thought it looked pretty bad... until I saw the replay.

It wasn't even CLOSE. Fokou was launching himself when Smith was still in-bounds. Fokou actually made contact with Smith BEFORE he was out-of-bounds. Then, the full impact of Fokou's body came in when Smith finally planted his foot out-of-bounds.

Smith looked to be almost a yard from out-of-bounds when Fokou went for him. If not for Smith's long stride, it would have been legit.

Shouldn't have been called. But, only if it could be reviewed would it be obvious.
