So are you purposely avoiding the realization of the problem or are you just too slow?

They were both high and behind the WR. If it was Locker you'd be pulling the accuracy card. Since it's your boy Fitztragic it's on the WRs.

He was throwing balls in the dirt all day.

Usually when you hit your receiver in the numbers you don't expect it to be picked off.

I see one guy making plays and not costing his team and then the other doing the opposite.

One guy gets through the drops and anemic running game and one doesn't. The one you like you make excuses for when he can't pull through. The problem is he's never been able to pull through.

I think fitz releases the ball too late in his motion. All of his throws seem to be going towards the ground which prevents our wide outs from getting YAC, they end up diving for the ball instead.

I'm guessing you didn't see the INT by Demps.

    He hit both receivers' torsos!

Yeah the nate one was on his back shoulder, nate still caught it, the defender just ripped it from him. The pass should be on the other side of Nate but that's a casualty of having to go to your backup with only a handful of practices to prepare.

I did, it hit KW's back shoulder and popped into the air. He should have brought that in.

When Fitz finally got in sync with the 1st team, he moved the ball at a faster rate than we've EVER seen from Locker.

That's all fair enough. Plenty to critique about the guy. But at the end of the day he's a backup QB, and one of the better ones in the league at that. Some people around here seem to have been expecting way too much from him.

We all knew Fitz probably wasn't going to be able to put the whole offense on his back and carry them to victory. Yet that's what we had to end up asking him to do.

We all knew (and said all week) he was going to need help from the running game. He got none.

All that said, Fitz did turn the ball over twice so obviously he shares in the blame. But to try to make him the sole scapegoat for the loss is beyond moronic (not saying that's what you're doing, just speaking generally). He improvised on two busted plays and got us our only TDs of the day. Meanwhile we had ACTUAL FULL-TIME STARTERS screwing up left and right.
