shots of whiskey followed by many beers. Amount of beer and whiskey depends on the loss.

The worst thing for me is that I'm always missing watching football soo much by the time the season (the real season not the fake pre-season) rolls around... but after the Titans loss yesterday I just couldn't watch anymore NFL for the day.

I don't really care. My emotions are not too enormously tied to a sporting team. Who cares.

My life does not get better in any tangible way if they win, and it doesn't get any worse if they lose. There are better reasons to be upset in life, and any second spent fretting about a sports team is time wasted. I can say I am happy if I get to see a win, live in person.. but that's about as far as it goes.

The only time I felt upset by a loss was against the Texans a few years ago, when they just routed us at home. And that was just a "blah", embarrassed kind of feeling.

But otherwise I try not to give a sporting team (in which I have zero control over) have control over my emotions.

The biggest lesson I have learned, and try to consider everyday, is to sit back and laugh.. life's too short. There are people and things in life that need your attention and passion, and there are things that don't. Football and Hockey watching are hobbies of mine because it is fun. If there is a moment where it is not fun to watch.. then I don't watch (aka most of the last few seasons)

It started before that. soul is bleached. I still watch most sundays.. I just find it silly that people scream and yell at a bar over a game. I understand in the stadium.. but I quietly root on the team if I am not in the stadium.

I think the soul bleaching started around 2009.. and It won't regain its vitality until the Titans finally win a playoff game. But still.. there's no use in moping around after a team loss. Especially when you have no control over the situation. Maybe I'm just too levelheaded sometimes. Even after seeing the Ravens playoff loss in 2008. I wasn't mad. It was a good game, and memorable. Sucks they lost..but it is what it is..
