It got pretty loud by LP field standards at the Chargers game, when Rivers got that personal foul. if the team could give fans something to yell about, then they will.

The problem with the NFL is that they attempted to market toward "families" rather than direct the gameday experience to the "fan"-atics. This was a complete gaffe by Goodell and the NFL marketing. Studies have shown in the restaurant business that patrons who order alcohol spend nearly 4-fold over those who don't. And the franchises price points on tickets are WAY out of line toward somebody who wants to bring their family. They simply afford it.

IMO- they ought to do away with the "fan conduct policy" and get the alcohol flowing at a lower price. Have some give-a-aways and get more scantily clad women dancing around and serving in the bars.

I've been a diehard since the first game back in '99.Have watched every game season after season. Finally decided after so many years to buy some tickets online and attend a game for the first time last season. The only reason i am not a season ticket holder is i live hours away in Memphis and the last few years my vehicle has gotten unreliable. Each season i am going to try and make it to one game.

Anyway i bought four tickets last season for my kids birthday and we rented a vehicle and went to the late October home game against Indy.We had the very top of the nosebleed section and running back and forth was rough every time the kids needed something. The elevator was a big help when we leaving the game.Decided to try something different so i got end zone seats this year for the home game against Jax.I've heard the game was hard to watch from the end zone we are about halfway up in that section.I mainly did it for convenience reasons things are closer like getting food and restroom breaks for the kids.

The only thing that did bug me a bit was the parking. We parked on a street a few blocks from the stadium i think it was Woodland Street.Anyway my wife is disabled from a bad wreck years ago and has steel rods and pins in one leg so walking far distances is painful and i got an ass chewing when we parked and i didn't realize how far we were from the stadium.

As far as fans i was shocked at how many Colts fans attended last years game. There were quite a few. They behaved well for the most part.

I do not think it is going anywhere. It is how you enforce it though. They do anonymous text in Seattle and that stadium is still crazy loud. They do anonymous text in Buffalo and that stadium is still the worlds largest dive bar on game day. It is all in how much you enforce and what expectations you set with the public.

very true but I have been a witness to bad enforcing of it when I have seen opposing fans thrown out for no reason but having the opposing jersey on because a home town fan decides to be a a**hole. That being said, it does work in most occasions but it still won't stop fights from breaking out. All families that attend these games need to realize what they are getting themselves in to.

The NFL doesn't want a college atmosphere. They are after a different demographic. One higher up the economic ladder. They want polite, wealthy fans putting their asses in those seats. They would prefer rowdy fans with whiskey in their blood to catch the game on Sunday ticket. The NFL doesn't market themselves to the college type SEC fan.

They want you to quietly clap and sit yo ass back down, unless you are going to the shop to buy some officially licensed NFL gear or a 8 dollar beer.

I am only able to attend a couple of games a year and it seems to be up and down. The Chargers game was the loudest game I have attended in a while. I picked up a couple of seats in the north end zone and had a great time with some psl owners that have been there since 99.
