Do not ever go there without anything other than Bills stuff on. If you look neutral the troglodyte Bills fans will assume you are cheering for the opposing team.

wow that is just an asinine way of thinking. I would expect nothing less of bills fans. How many games you go to up there?

Problem is that well-behaved means "family" in the entertainment market.

I'll say it again. The NFL is a hormone driven industry. Both for guys and gals. They will never fill the seats with well behaved individual. The price points are WAY too high.

I think that is why the price points are so high.

To keep people like Titans Eternal out.

I was at the game, and the lower level had hype Chiefs fans making most of the noise. I was talking mad **** to them, but the other Titans fans were quite. I think that the people on this board should all decide on one game next year to attend. Make it a once a year event. We could do what April Powers told Kenny Powers to do last episode (Eastbound and Down), "Go F--- S--- Up"

A part of the deal is this:

Everyone who bought a PSL back when they were sold are now 16-17 years older. Many of those who could afford those PSLs are people who, at the time, had the kind of income which would allow them to buy season tickets each year. Now, some find themselves on a fixed income or with health that doesn't allow them to attend every game. My dad is an example of this. He sells his season tickets at face to Titans fans but no one is willing to buy the preseason games. This means he actually loses money to keep his PSL.

I know of others who continuously buy their season tickets but don't care enough about the team to come when the weather is bad and can't be bothered to give them away. They'd sell their PSLs if they could get anything for them.

Where the Titans screwed up is by not cultivating new demand for tickets and resting on the early success of the franchise. The venue became a joke along with some mediocre seasons and it caught up to them like it has so many other teams. The value of the PSL declined. Toss in a poor economy and you have what you see now even though the gameday experience has vastly improved, IMO, this season.

The NFL makes too much on TV deals, etc. to put a lot of emphasis into getting fans in the seats, IMO.

A few things which would go a long way towards improving the experience would be to mail out something besides a $1 plastic license plate or key chain to PSL holders. Give away decent stuff at the games. Have REAL food discounts or food vouchers.

And quit making loyal PSL owners pay for games which don't mean anything. The NFL waters down their own product and expects fans to not notice?

Add value to the experience and it'll go a long way towards keep butts in the seats.

Yep. And this is what is so infuriating to me. With all the money that is made on TV/licensing/merchandise/etc. why do they also have to squeeze every last penny out of their most loyal fans?

Don't get me wrong, I realize at the end of the day this is a capitalistic society and the NFL is a business. But like I said earlier, it shouldn't require the cost of a small vacation to take your family to a game and not need binoculars. I'm not a rich man by any means, but I make a decent living. Still, by the time I buy 3 tix for halfway decent seats, beer/concessions, parking, gas, etc... I definitely notice it in my bank account.

They definitely seem to be in the process of pricing the middle (and lower) class fan out of the stadium. And that's sad.

Several. Go for sure whenever the Titans are in town. Wear a Bills hat of course. Do not need to get peed on. And I am not exaggerating when I call it the biggest dive bar in the world. Most people there binge drink hard before the game. Washrooms are a train wreck as a result. People pee in the sinks. Literally every sink is taken up by someone peeing in it. Night games are even worse since they have more time to get smashed.

The people watching there is some of the best in the world. I love seeing it. But I am weird like that. And I would never bring a kid there.

You also have to understand just how bitter the fans are there. Team is terrible. Owner is terrible. Yet, once the owner dies the team will probably be moved. They play one home game a year in boring Toronto. And the city is an economically depressed dump.

wow, that is more terrible than I thought it could ever be at a game. I have been to a few games at the old meadowlands, I wear my Titans gear but I am quiet. I remember MNF game back in 03, it was rough walking out of there. Those jets fans got in fights and poured beer on each other which I thought was hysterical but they didn't bother with me because I said nothing aside from the fact that Mac 9 threw a 60 yard bomb to Justin M for the TD. lol
