Seahawks are the #2 seed at worst, and the Saints gave them a gift Sunday by choking against the Pats.

Whoever gets the #1 seed between the Seahawks and Saints will end up going all the way. They'll both end up undefeated at home. I don't see the Seahawks being able to win in New Orleans, and I don't see the Saints being able to win in Seattle.

very excellent point at how home field plays such an advantage for the reg season and playoffs

Well, it's usually not as big of a deal, but it is for the Saints and Seahawks, specifically.

These teams are night and day when comparing home performance to away performance.

In recent years, usually the #1 seeds fade and do nothing. I don't want the Titans to ever get the #1 seed again. Too much pressure, and we all know what happened both times we were #1 :disappointed:. I would rather be a #2, 3 or 4. That way you're still getting a home game and can still possibly get the AFC Championship at home if the #1 seed falls.

true and I saw KC broke a record for noise yesterday, I think it is tough to play there as well but I hope someone beats them bad!

I think the hawks would have a better chance in NO than NO in Sea

Chiefs haven't won a playoff game since before Justin Bieber was alive... and they go one and done more than Miley Cyrus on a Friday night.

They won't get to play at home though... they're gonna be the 5th seed. Broncos will win that division - I would think. Things change, but I don't see how the Chiefs can outlast the Broncos. They'd essentially need to sweep them to win the division IMO. Doubt that happens.

I agree with all of that but the broncos need to work on that d or they may be in more trouble than anyone could ever think.

To be fair, the thing about road struggles on the Seahawks is a bit outdated. I think they are like 6-2 or something like that the last 8 games on the road (including playoffs). Russell Wilsons Seahawks seem to have solved their road woes. I agree on the home field advantage though. Whoever wins it will most likely make the Superbowl. I don't count out GB and SF in this mix still either.

Stopping by to wish the Titans and their fan base success going forward.

About the game itself, I'm not sure what to say that hasn't already been said. Either team could have won as it turned out; and both teams demostrated causes for concern and griping from their respecvtive fans. As a Hawk fan, having the 10-point swing of a blocked FG resulting in a TD for the opposing team-- for the second week in a row-- was more than annoying. Having Walter Thurmond whiff on an otherwise easy Pick 6, very much like Zach Brown blowing the fumble recovery on your side of the ledger, was squandering an opportunity that hurt the team. Having five fumbles-- and no separation from the WRs-- and poor red zone execution-- and an inconsistent pass rush-- and and and-- it is what it is; both fan bases are griping today.

But in my opinion, everything said and done, the Titans proved something by going into the Clink and hanging tough with a chance to win the game clear until Lavar Edwards jumped off sides late in the 4th Q. Their defense is very solid; and their offense will become more potent again when Locker returns, hopefully quickly. I have no doubt that the Titans at full strength can compete with the Colts-- honestly I thought that the Titans overall gave the Hawks a better game, even though they came up short while the Colts came out on top against the Hawks. Unfortunately the Hawks did not do you the favor of beating the Colts, though at least they took down the Texans and lowly Jags. All the same, Hawk fans will gratefully appreciate any losses that the Titans deliver to the Niners, Cards, and/or Rams. I'll be rooting for the Titans to make the playoffs .

Thanks and same to you. Congrats on the win and thanks for not being a douche like some of the Chiefs fans were.

I didn't see the play in question but I heard ya'll got hosed pretty good by the refs. Welcome to our world. The Colts are the darlings of the league. We had them beat once last year were it not for the stripes. Actually both games with the Colts were horribly reffed. Should have had both of them.
