Five players did not practice for the Titans on Wednesday: middle linebacker Moise Fokou (knee), safety Bernard Pollard (ankle), tackle David Stewart (ankle), linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) and defensive end Derrick Morgan (shoulder).

Fokou has already been ruled out for this Sunday, but Titans coach Mike Munchak said Pollard and Stewart should return to practice on Thursday.

Three players were limited in practice: linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring), running back Shonn Greene (knee) and quarterback Jake Locker (hip/knee).

Five other players were listed on the injury report, but were full participants in practice: running back Jackie Battle (neck), defensive end Lavar Edwards (shoulder), defensive tackle Sammie Hill (ankle), cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring) and center Rob Turner (shoulder).

Morgan is always hurt or sucking... one of the two. Sometimes both at the same time.

Zaviar Gooden... jesus. He may have filled Markelle Martin's role on the team.

Will be good to get Hill back. Could use the depth and size against Gore and the 9ers O-Line

I was excited for the Gooden pick but damn he's got healthy issues. Bad hammys are no bueno on a speed backer.

He played in all 16 games last season and led the team in sacks.

He spankin' your sister or something?

We need Morgan. I don't want to see Edwards start, or Wimbley for that matter.

Leading this team in sacks last season is like leading the Jaguars in TD passes...

I notice you worded it without a number to sound pretty.

He had 6.5 sacks. Whoop-tee-farkin-doo. What a baller!

He's always hurt. And always invisible on Sundays. Try to deny that if you wish, but delusion is delusion.

16 games = 16 games. Maybe he was hurting in a few but gutted it out. Kind of makes leading a bad defense in sacks even more impressive.

Oh, he's led the team the past two seasons in QB pressures too. All while always hurt AND invisible.

Who do you actually like on the team anyway now that VY is gone?

I didn't realize that Turner has a shoulder injury... The Schwenke change at center makes more sense. Let's hope Big Country gets better in a hurry because I don't know if Byron Stingley is ready for that job full time!

VY... the guy I bashed while you guys tried to tell me he'd be amazing?

    Many players:

Nate, Pollard, Brown, Verner, Greene, Martin, Casey, Pit, Ayers, Wright, Walker, etc etc etc...

Actually there are very few I dislike: Griffin (I like him at the moment), Morgan, and... hm... about it.

6.5 sacks isn't impressive. Maybe if he had one leg that'd be impressive.

Guy was a first round pick and you guys make excuses for his mediocre performances nonstop. Kills me.

He's a bust. The day you accept that, he'll stop breaking your heart every weekend.

He's slow. Has no power. No rush moves. Average. In every sense of the word.
