Since the new CBA all vets have been "over paid". You and a lot of people seem to be stuck in the past when it comes to salaries, Stevens is paid market value.

If you wanna talk about overpaid players, move the focus to high picked 1st round QBs like Matthew Stafford Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, from the era before the new CBA.

Walker is at a similar pace to Bo Scaife's 2008 season which was his best as a pro. I think that's good enough for a TE on this team. We don't need a 1000 yard type TE. It's always nice to have but we don't need it with the depth we have at WR.

If we can finally get a running game that could open up even more opportunities for Walker to get bigger yardage plays.

Jets have marked down all Sanchez merchandise 50% off

    I think he's a goner.

Cook sucks. Outside of that first game he hasn't even been the best TE on the Rams. He's in his fifth year in the league... he's not a rising prospect, dude is what he is at this point. An athletic freak who will make a few scintillating plays every year, and tease newbs and suckers into thinking he has the potential to be something more than what he is... he's a classic tease player. And really Cook is a WR... the guy is simply afraid to block. he's had a bunch really embarrassing low lights of half-assed blocking efforts already in this relatively young season.

I think Walker is far and away the better NFL player.

    No he is not.

Show me proof that he is paid vet minimum what we have to pay him because I believe his contract was considerably more than that.

Sure. Doesn't change the fact that he's overpaid. J-E-S-T have paid him something like 70M for 5 years (originally 5 years, 50M and then an extension with 20M guaranteed).

I never said he makes vet minimum, I said he's paid market value.

Fred Davis recently signed a 1-year deal, he was given a $2.5M contract.
Dustin Keller another one, recently signed a 1-year $4.25M contract.
    Anthony Fasano signed a 4-year $16M deal, averages $4m/yr.
    Delanie Walker 4 years $17M
Stevens contact breaks down to $3.5M/yr, thats about what everyone is getting.

Stevens aint worth that. He's paid well above market value for what he contributes.

I still dont get why everyone is all over Loggains. We have been in every game offensively, but the players have to execute. Look at our 3 losses, thats not on Loggains, thats on individual "wtf" moments in each and every one of them.

Not one game we have lost this season can be blamed on Loggains IMO. (of course there will be growing pains, but its his first season calling the shots) If we didnt have retarded RB's, it would be even better. We should have beat the Texans, and we also could have beaten KC as well as Seattle (in their house) with Fitz as our QB, a crap offensive line, and no run game.

As of now, I definitely do not want to get rid of him.
