This is my point, no team will give that much for him. So no need to trade him. I also agree that he more than likely will not be a Titan next year. But moreso because the new ownership won't want to pay him. He will probably be traded in the offseason for whatever they can get or release him outright.

Nope, but it would be worth giving it a try..

They are in need of a WR and I think Britt actually would fit good with them.

Would you guys take a 3rd rounder and a 4th for CJ?

    I would. Couple of reasons:

    1. Like I said earlier, I highly doubt he's a Titan in 2014 anyway.
    2. It wouldn't be hard to get the same rushing production from another back that we've been getting from CJ lately.

I honestly don't think this team gets much worse minus CJ.

Britt to Carolina actually does make some sense, but there's no way the Titans would get back a useful player. Maybe can get a late pick out of them.

I agree with you. I know the argument can be said that CJ keeps 8 in the box or the D on check but what if we had a RB with the same or better (not hard at this point) production. All of a sudden, based on that argument, they don't stack 8 in the box anymore. Well, now our run game is good to go. I think it works both ways.

I would trade CJ for a 3rd I think too. I think we should move on. We have greene, and I'd like a J.C. like back who can bulldoze, juke, and catch. I think that is what our O needs right now.

Just saw that Lions WR Broyles is out for the season now. Maybe there is a remote chance they'd want Britt (?).

I wouldn't. I know a lot of people don't have faith in CJ anymore, but I think he will play a key part on offense to help this team try and get hot during the last half of this season.

Our o-line and play calling should better as well.

I think the Titans would have shown their hand by now if they were going to deal Britt. They would have wanted to get someone in for practice this morning if Britt were out of their plan moving forward. I wish they would deal him, KW and NW can be and already are our #1 and #2 WR's anyway!
