Dolphins are making themselves look worse with these statements. I am very interested to see what martin says in his detailed report.

I do wonder if these dolphin players realize how bad incognito's past behavior really was because they do not act like they do.

Agreed. I feel like when I heard the censored version the person speaking's tone sounded way different. Almost sounds like someone with a transcript doing an Incognito impersonation.

I like what pollard had to say there! Good to know he would not stand by and watch what happened which is what I think happened in Miami but who knows at this point

For three weeks in 2009, safety George Wilson was offensive lineman Richie Incognito’s teammate with the Bills.

Wilson admits he didn’t get to know Incognito. He’s more familiar with Incognito’s playing style, as their teams faced off twice a season after the big lineman signed with the Dolphins in 2010.

“I played against him enough to know he lives up being one of the dirtiest players in the league,” said Wilson, who signed with the Titans in February. “You have to watch Richie around piles, watch him after the whistle. I know he’s aggressive out there.”

Wilson said he doesn’t hold a grudge for those reasons — Incognito’s reputation on the field is well known — but he has a problem with the recent stories out of Miami.

The Dolphins suspended Incognito indefinitely on Sunday for conduct detrimental to the team. He allegedly bullied teammate Jonathan Martin, and an expletive-filled voicemail with Incognito making racial slurs to Martin is among the alarming details that have surfaced in recent days.

“I never saw that side of Richie in Buffalo. I never would have thought he’d use those racial slurs. It bothers you because as teammates, guys spend so much time together, and to hear someone using those terms so loosely …” Wilson said. “It just goes to show you some guys can act one way at work, and it totally contradicts how they are once they leave work.”

Martin left the Dolphins last week after a lunchroom incident that reportedly involved a number of teammates.

Wilson and fellow Titans safety Bernard Pollard said some of Martin’s teammates should have prevented anything from escalating to bullying.

“I have a problem to the degree the hazing and bullying went to, and I have an even bigger problem with the lack of guys coming to his aid. There is no way you can believe people in that locker room didn’t know what was going on,” Wilson said. “I don’t know how anyone could sit back and allow that to be acceptable behavior.”

Pollard said he feels badly for Martin, a second-year pro who was reportedly harassed on a regular basis.

“That can’t happen on a football team. I can’t stand by and watch, because as a leader and a man, you don’t do that,’’ Pollard said. “You don’t demean somebody. You don’t bully somebody. … That has no place in an NFL locker room, in schools or in life.”

Quarterback Jake Locker said players and coaches have to maintain a locker-room environment that’s suitable for everyone, even if pranks and initiation rituals take place.

“All the teams I have been on understand that line,” Locker said. “And I have never seen that line crossed personally.”
