Our Special Teams are the worst

Alan Lowry = best coach we had last year.

Alan Lowry = first coach fired in the offseason.

 

And then our other best one was our LB coach (Frank Bush?)... fired immediately. lol

 

I beg for our Kick off returner to take a dam knee in the end zone. Why can't we start drives at the 20?? Is that to much to ask?

 

It was super hard watching our Special Teams yesterday in all phases.

Sure would have made a huge difference if Bironas could kick the ball out the endzone.

 

This is why I can't stand getting the ball to start the game:

1. We never return the kick past the 20 yard line.
2. We tend to only gain 8 yards and then punt the ball.
3. Kern punts it to their 40 yard line.
4. All the punt returner has to do is get 5-10 yards.

BOOM they are at around midfield. So they either score or we end up getting shafted in field position all the first half, it seems.

 

I agree with this 100% ..... this is why I beg our returner to take a dam knee in the end zone on kickoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

This is nearly everywhere, though.

As I watched the Colts get destroyed with Colt fans, we all agreed... TAKE A KNEE, DON'T TAKE IT OUT OF THE ENDZONE!

 

except that d williams tried to make a play and got stuffed and we end up starting drives at the 15 or 11 yard line. Always a good chance of a penalty on kickoffs too so not worth the risk imo unless you have a guy like hester.
