Jake Locker is a Prime Example

    I wish Jake was the franchise qb for us, but he just isn't. He could be a solid back up qb in this league but he doesn't have the accuracy for a starting qb. Regardless of if he can stay healthy or not, I've seen enough with his passing alone. He is a baller and I love that about him but he can't run every play and make it a full season, and why to much of a inconsistent passer, 1 game he looks good and then the next game he can't make a play to save his life. It's time we move on

    I agree, but just playing devils advocate...

    If Gabbert sat for 1-3 years, he could of hypothetically learned the game before being thrown to the wolves. Gabbert was set to fail before even starting a game.

    Or he could have set for 1-3 years and then still sucked and then the team wasted all that time on him and set back the franchise.

    They switch who calls the plays depending on how well the defense plays according to many of our fans.

    When it comes down to it, you can't build a dynasty without a franchise QB. So every teams goal should be to find that QB before they start worrying about fixing other parts of a team.

    It probably is time, BUT Jake's latest injury isn't one you get alone, something has to happen like getting stepped on or something.

    Now if he walked out of the huddle and sprained his ankle then ok, I'd say Jake is for sure not the guy. But he just got unlucky (again I know) but still.

    Im not giving up on this kid so soon, not when we have a 500 page thread about a guy from 2010.

    That guy from 2010 actually won us games and we went to the playoffs with him. Regardless of what you may think Jake hasn't done a cotton pickin thing.
