Anyone else in the history of Titans defense gets nailed to the cross by fans for the amount of 15-yard flags Pollard has received thus far, but with Pollard it's all good. Amazing what providing a good sound bite every now and then will do to the fans' perception.

This guy is such a liability it isn't even funny. But at least he hits hard.

That liability has more clutch interceptions than anyone not named Verner and is by far our best/hardest tackler. He's prevented a lot of first downs.

Clutch means they came at very opportune times, which they did. Whether or not he had help in getting them is pretty irrelevant to my point. He could have always dropped the easy pick like many of our defenders consistently do. Also I know it ended up being negated by a penalty that wasn't his fault but the interception he had against I believe the 9ers was extremely clutch and could have been the difference in the game. I know could'ves don't mean much but whatever. All our wins have been extremely close and each possession was huge, Pollard has given us a few more possessions than we would have had. He's played well.

But he's the most motivated player on the roster!

Only guys on our D I believe have outplayed Pollard are Verner, Casey, and MAYBE Pitoatua though I think Pollard has made the bigger plays.

I'll give him credit for being able to catch a ball thrown directly to him, but anyone with two eyes and two hands can do that.

By the way, he's cost the defense 15 yards more than twice as many times as he's provided the offense with an extra possession.

It doesn't excuse stupid penalties which often offset anything good he does. The two Sunday killed the defense and had as much a negative impact on the outcome of the game as CJ's first fumble, IMO.
