thoughts on Mariucci coming back? I thought he was decent with san fran, not so much with the lions but I think he could be a good coach if he came back.

There are only 32 head coaching jobs in the NFL. We do not have to get that desperate.

I seriously doubt that Munchak gets fired even though he deserves it. However if he does, we need to throw money at the best coach available regardless of who it may be whether pro or college coach.

If we were having this conversation last season, I would have thrown out Kyle shanahan. Not so much right now.aDifference a year makes.

Have to look at the big picture. Because if we were having this conversation three years ago suggesting Kyle Shannahan would make you a laughing stock. One good year does not a coach make.

    Im down for Shaw.

Lovie Smith seems too much like Fishers style. Defensive-minded, run a lot, weak on offense eh ...

Dont even wanna disiss Gruden anymore -
Why would he leave his cozy, leas stressful booth job for the Titans of all teams? It would probably have to be a very ideal fit for him to jump back into the stresses of the coaching scheme although I can see him comin g back just not here.

Titans need a splashy young up and coming candidate with experience - meaning no more in-house options, guys with 0 experience or no stop gap types.

A franchise that has been only Fisher and Munch in most of our lifetimes, its hard to even invision any big-name, splashy coach coming to Nashville - probably a pipe dream but at this point its all we got.
