I like to win games when they still mean something.

Man, Jake and 'long pass' should never be in the same sentence.

I will re-watch every game this year later on (when I miss football), but he like never takes shots downfield nor does he try to control the LOS with audibles.

People keep blaming Dowell (and he should def get some blame don't get me wrong), but I'm telling you, receivers are running down field a lot, but Jake loves to play it short, it's still what he is comfortable with.

I always trust my eyes to tell me what's right and they've told me that Jake is no where close to a top qb in long passes. So many times it's a pass play and I see 8 or even 9 close to the LOS. That means somewhere, there is a WR running 1-on-1 and still, he chooses to dump it off...

Jake isn't very good. When his supporters realize that, peace will follow.

It's like Vince Young. Sure I loved watching him and the cardinals come back has to be one of my favorite at a bar watching the game memories( before graduating college, and my girlfriend leaving me--what could have been wrong)

But with Vince I also knew that I was covering my eyes a lot when he threw the ball. I also realized he would never beat a top(or middle tier) defense/QB when it counted.

I can 125% say those things about Locker. Looking back on a forum rant last year after the second game of the season I drove to in San Diego I could see the writing on the wall. Thankfully my post was bet with the typical forum brilliance of "go away"

Meh. Locker can work the field in the right offense but dude can't stay healthy. I'm not checking to see if you called that. However, the guy can ball when things are going his way. He does get anxious, he does miss crossing routes. But what he does do well... He is top grade at.

    Top grade at getting hurt
Top grade at throwing the dig
Top grade at missing the slant
    Top grade at phantom injuries
    Top grade at missing games
Top grade at being a leader
Top grade at holding us hostage
Top grade at leaving the team to win with a backup
Top grade at taking contact shoulder first
Top grade at chasing down INTs
Top grade at throwing to TRIPLE coverage
Top grade at getting the WR over the middle hurt
Top grade at forcing a vanilla offense
Top grade at being a bust 8th overall pick
Top grade at fumbling the ball
Top grade at not being McNair
Top grade at not being a franchise QB.

Attendance had nothing to do with it, the problem was the Oilers didn't own the stadium, in fact they were considered the 3rd tenant, the owners also owned the Astros, then the number two tenant (in the owner of the Astrodome's mind anyways) was the texas rodeo. So Bud was forced to eat a lot of **** and didn't get his way about expansions and improvements....

I disagree with this, firstly Yes winning a SB is every teams goal, but truthfully I will take and be happy with a competitive team that makes the playoffs, once in the playoffs I will take what comes. The playoffs are all about who gets hot, who makes a lucky play, ect. So yes if the Titans reached this level again I would take it all day.

Classic living for today attitude, sometimes... in fact a lot of times you have to take a step back to go forward in life.

Not really. There are plenty of quality players between 10-15 and plenty of misses between 1-9. The difference isn't worth creating a culture of losing and poor mentality for the good players we have.

That's good you don't actually cheer for the opponent, but you shouldn't be surprised that I or someone else would call you out when you actually type the opposite a few days ago.

This is what really pisses me off.

They still mean something. It doesn't mean something (or probably won't) regarding playoffs. But they aren't meaningless games for the development and psyche of our players.

realistically we will mostly likely go 7-9 or 6-10 considering our schedule and how well or not well we are playing. 8-8 would be the best we could hope for and we will miss the playoffs. I expect the jets to win today in buffalo and take a 2 game lead over the 2nd wildcard spot. That being said I have to ask where does that put us going forward? I will not root for opposing teams but losing games means little to me now since I am more focused on long term goals. Players get big bucks to play this game and I expect them to act professionally all the way through the season. At the end of the day tho this is just another wasted mediocre season. TIME FOR CHANGE!
