I always assumed he was just a confused Texan fan.

Or just a guy who really hates himself or his life.

Those are the only two things that fit.

That's actually a good thing. If he's being a "team guy" and not being a cancer in the locker room.

He'll get his sh*t together eventually. I assume he'll come up huge in a game or 2 down the stretch. He's a good player. Once he clears it from his mind, he'll be fine.

I still don't like the guy! We had a good late drive and that was it. I know you cant always score 30, but every now and again that would be great. I like the fact he has implemented more slant patterns and crossing patterns, but still don't like the way he calls the game. All in all though, a win is a win, and I guess we couldn't have got there without some of his play calling.

But still all those runs up the middle? - Oakland was 5th in YPC, allowing only 3.7 and has a huge d-line.

Disagree. As usual our playcalling is terribly conservative and predictive until time constraints force us to take more chances.

Do you guys expect Loggains to abandon the run? Fitz threw the ball 42 times.

He called only 24 runs. CJ had 3.7 ypc and Green 3.8. I take that all day against that run defense. He ran enough for them to not key the pass on every play.

426 yards of offense is a solid performance. You add the drops in there and you are pushing 450 or more.

It shouldn't take 4/5th's of the season for him to "clear his mind" and start making some plays. The guy either flat out doesn't care/isn't trying or he's completely lost it (I suspect the former but maybe it's a bit of both). I have a hard time buying the "oh he's just in a funk and will turn it around soon" excuse anymore. It's week 13 for god's sake. And he's shown absolutely NOTHING. Not one damn thing.

How anyone could still want this guy to see the field is beyond me.

Jeff, it's not how much he calls run or pass, it's WHEN he calls it. The down and distance, field position and formations clearly tells you when it's one or the other, although with Fitz he does seem to have added a little bit of PA.

I firmly believe there's a reason opponents are all over our run game and it's simply because they know what is coming.

Don't get me wrong, 426 yards of offense is awesome, but with that being said, it's only one game. How consistant has Loggains been with his play calling? Are you saying your happy with the way Loggains has called plays so far this year? The offense has changed with Fitz running the show, but I believe my patience with Loggains goes back to the beginning of the season. I do realize it's not just the play calling, and mistakes made on the field are from the players, but I do believe Loggains has not used enough formations or just anything different for that matter, to show that "hey maybe we have something up our sleeves. Maybe just Maybe we're going to make you think we're going to do something and totally do something different". We have a week off from our bye and we run the same plays we were running before. The defense stacks the box every game. Yes Fitz had a awesome day passing, Yes we ran the ball to keep the defense guessing, but guess what... they were still stacking the box. They knew that Loggains was going to get back to running the same plays he's ran all season. They know this and it shows on the field.

I only gave Loggains credit for this game. I hope it's a sign of what we get the rest of the way.
