Smack Jon Gruden for Head Coach of Titans. It's time for a change

I'm sure there are reasons Gruden would be a good HC again, but I want to hear from someone who started the thread.

 

Yeah, that's good, but has he ever developed a QB? No. Has he ever built a championship defense? No.

I just find it funny that every time there is a head coaching thread Gruden is one of the first names thrown out there, ahead of guys like Cower, Dungy and Billick. All of whom have shown about as much interest in returning to the game and have all won Super Bowls.

I just don't get it.

 

To be fair I can't remember the argument against Gruden beside he is over hype. Does anybody care to list out his flaws?

He seems like a passionate and fired up guy who will certainly get the respect in the locker room.

He seems to know qbs really well like others have said. He would draw top talent for other coaching positions and possible fa players.

So yea I'm kinda lost as to why he would be a bad choice.

The point is, literally, any coach would be better than Munshat.

 

Where does this line of thinking come from? Give me one guy he's developed. You can't because that guy doesn't exist.

True I don't ever hear of any real evidence that he is ready to come back. Why would he to? It could damage his legacy if he does poorly. Plus coaching is grueling.

 

No, I didn't. I just jumped at someone spouting the usual garbage about him being a QB guru.
