I believe that was Mike McCoy, now with San Diego.

    My list is

    1. Greg Romans
    2. Ray Horton
    3. Mike Zimmer

I think Romans is head and shoulders above the rest the best fit for our situation.

Saban doesn't want any bit of the NFL.

Briles is a wonderful story for Baylor, but in essence, why not just hire Mike Leach? This goes for Sumlin too, they're great at scoring lots of points and not stopping a single team from running the ball for 350 yds down their throats. Its what under-manned teams do to compete.

The question is, who's the next major program coach who's about to get stuffed for major infractions, who needs a bailout? Les Miles?

    No to :
    Linehan
    Fewell

    Yes to :
    Ray Horton

You should be banned for a month for even speaking of LSU's coach. Get an avatar too, homie :chairwack:

No thanks. He is a certified moron.
That is a great idea, assuming you prefer having a coach who will dart to the NCAA at the first sign of trouble. Ask the dolphins how much of a difference maker he is. Plus, he would be a moron to leave the college ranks.

On a separate note: norv turner is a proven horrible head coach, even with talent.

I'd love to have San Fran's offensive playbook in Nashville. That's the same reason I want David Shaw here. This team needs an identity. We aren't even close to establishing one on offense right now and we've invested a lot on the offensive line. It seems like a match made in heaven for that type of scheme.

My favorites: Greg Roman, David Shaw, or Ray Horton (in no order). Get me one of those three, please.

I love Horton, not sure the fit is here. He'll want complete control of the defense and want to switch to the 3-4. Not sure if we should make that change, being as how our best player on DT is the perfect 4-3 DT.

David Shaw is who i'm leaning towards. Look at his history:
    Stanford (HC)
    Head coaching record, Overall: 33–6
    Accomplishments and honors (as HC):
    Championships
    1 Pac-12 (2012)
    Awards
    Pac-12 Coach of the Year (2011, 2012

Bring in Shaw, hopefully Gregg Williams is promoted to DC & asst HC. Shaw controls the offense and let Gregg run the D. Shaw has what it takes to go find a QB and make this offense a Top-5 offense.
