What do you guys think of this? Is Bellichek that awesome of a coach? Or is there some insider information that is leaked to the top teams in the league somehow to help them win? Hell We might be a victim of some of this if the accusations are true. Isnt it funny how the Patriots are always good no matter what? I smell a conspiracy. lol Sure you can make adjustments to your opponent but how far can that take you? Look at how the Patriots have miraculously come back in games. The Colts too. I guess it could boil down to coaching but It makes me wonder. Apparently I'm not the only one.

Nah. Some teams are just good and know how to win while others (like the Titans) suck and are perennial losers.

patriots can do what they want....the NFL does rig things AGAINST us though. I'm sure they told the refs to botch calls on purpose...

By the nature of the game, you cannot fully rig the NFL. I do believe that there is inside influence though.

Much as I hate the Pats and do believe they got away with a LOT with "Spy-gate", I think Brady said it best. It simply was half-time adjustments.

Bellichek's reply was interesting though. Almost like he told on himself. "No comment, that's a league matter". As if to suggest they were getting help from the league under the table somehow. I just find it odd that big market teams are always on top. Out of all the teams in the NFL one would think the balance of power would flow more than it does. Makes me think teams like the Titans are just cannon fodder for the powerhouses of the NFL. Kinda like Nascar pays no name cars to run in races just to have a full field of cars.

Take it a step further and wouldn't it be something if all the coaches were in on it. lol one big play of "theater" to keep the masses focused on something... ok I'm putting away my tinfoil hat now.

Why would the NFL rig games? What's in it for them? They stand to lose a billion dollar a year cash cow if caught, and gain nothing.

Unlike baseball or basketball, NFL will get great ratings in the playoffs and super bowl regardless of who is there. They don't have to sweat big market small market... the whole country watches.

If the big market teams win more games, they stand to make a lot more money. I've heard many theories on NFL fixing, Lots of good ones, Like When the steelers won the super bowl in Jerome Bettis' home town, Or the Patriots winning the SB after 9/11, Or even the Ravens winning last year's SB because Ray Lewis was retiring. I called that just on principle, like they wouldn't hand it to him?

Big market teams winning means even more money, I see story lines in the NFL worthy of wrestling, so it certainly makes me wonder. I still watch, though, I don't think the Titans are a victim of fixing so much, as they are a victim of just being them.
