Guy is moving up draft boards.

He is now being projected as mid 1st round by the so called analysts.

He is 6-4 and 230 lbs.

Strong as hell, has some speed and more importantly is carrying a Florida directional school (UCF) to a 10-1 record with some impressive wins.

Most importantly, his girlfriend is hot.

While I still believe Jake is back next year, it could be nice to have a QB taller than 6'1" not named Rusty Smith.

Can't we just draft a QB in every round?

We would HAVE to hit on one somewhere along the way.

But he can't play under center, so pass on Blake Bortles

Look around the league. Many QBs are rarely lining up under center.

The next staff might get away from our pre-forward pass style of offense.

Russell Wilson didn't play under center, RG3, Cam Newton on and on.

You can learn to take a snap under center. Not sucking at every other aspect of the position is more important.

You haven't watched enough of Bortles. He plays under center. Also he doesn't line up in a formation then look at the coach or OC on the sideline for the play adjustment. Hes making his own adjustments from both under center and in the gun.

I live in Tampa FL not a UCF fan but Bortles is my favorite QB in this class. Has very impressive fourth quarter game winning drives this season.

Check this guy out before you toss him out like trash. Bortles can connect on a 5-yard slant hitting the target in stride, shoot thats way more then we can say about Locker...

I admit youre right, but from the highlights and the SC game, he's missing that part of his game.

I'm still not sold. When a highlight video contains a lot of under- and overthrows on medium to long passes I start to get worried.

I'm still in for Scarecrow's idea. I wish there were more of a reserve/minor league system where we could keep 5 QBs on retainer. Because it certainly is a crapshoot. We put all our eggs in one basket with 1 first rd QB, and we're quite possibly screwed.
