Rob Gronkwoski tore his ACL and MCL yesterday proving himself to be even more fragile than some of our players. He is a beast on the field, but he rarely gets playing time and frequently has serious injuries. Another player with similar problems comes to mind who plays a different sport in Derek Rose. Locker can certainly enter this conversation even though he is nowhere near these other guys production thus far. What do you do with superstar players like Gronk or Rose? Do you wait and hope for the best or move on?

You think the Pats are done with Gronk? I bet he gets one more shot.

Very unlikely that they move on. They will draft another TE sure, but he will be around.

Is he still under his rookie contract? He must be expensive to keep around to only play in 6 games a year. In Locker's case, we keep him for the 4th year of his rookie contract and don't take the extension. I wonder how much the Bulls are paying Rose to rehab on the bench.

He is surprisingly cheap to keep, even if he's on the shelf. And they just re-signed him thru 2019 last summer, so yea they wont cut him, but they should. Gronk will have missed 9 games this year, plus the 5 from last year. He's missed half the games he's suppose to be in the last 2 years.
