I'm fairly confident that won't happen. He'll be 29 before next season starts. He really doesn't have very many "productive" years left.

my line of thinking isn't due to confidence in cj although I do have more than most, just more confidence in the fact we have horrible luck, although it seems when we move on from a player it usually the right decision

That's one major truth... We KNOW when to let one go.

Btw, the more research I do on Hyde, plus asking outside eyes/other draftniks/twitter. They are circling the wagons for Hyde. I'm not alone on thinking dude is going to be a monster.

    Marion Grice:

Porbably won't play in his bowl game due to a lower leg injury (unsure on what the injury is) that could move him down draft boards

Is made for today NFL great pass catcher out of the backfield, can make defenders miss in the open field, good lateral quickness, hits the hole hard, good balance

Could be product of system, pass blocking, and durability (lower leg is only injury I could find)

It's a petty reason but I'm gonna own it... I don't like his stature for the position. 6 foot and 205 is a weird combo for a rb.

Reminds me of a shorter Matt Forte

Forte probably got 15 lbs on him tho.

    Interesting prospect tho.

    Due to the height difference

An Inch/ inch and a half? 6'2 -220 is a mixture of scat and size. 6-205 seems lanky and light

He needs to be used much like forte tho. Good hands. Screen style RB. Doesn't have fortes explosion tho. Interesting to see what his long jump will be.
