Or a policy of "let's play someone who doesn't suck if we think we got better."

This "childish coaching staff" are risking their jobs with each loss. So we're to believe they're sitting better players for spite?

No. And I'm not saying it's not a valid argument. But I still really question 6 snaps.

Exactly. Which is why Munch can't win with some of you.

Brown has been limited the second half of the season for a reason.

Zach Brown quit on a play just before getting yanked.

Watch him let that RB just go passed him like its nothing.

If Brown hustles, he doesn't give up a 1st down.

He just looks slow to me and took a poor angle.

I assume this was the one that got him yanked from the game?

Titans linebacker Zach Brown is confused.

The 2012 second-round pick was yanked out of Sunday’s loss to Arizona after playing just six snaps, and it appears as if he’s now out of the starting lineup. Brown said Wednesday he did not practice with the first team as the Titans prepare for Jacksonville this Sunday.

“I was pulled from the game, so I guess I’m sitting for the rest of the season,” Brown said. “But you never know what’s going to happen.”

Brown is second on the team in tackles (104), tied for first in tackles for loss (three), tied for second in sacks (four) and tied for second in quarterback pressures (four).

Titans coach Mike Munchak said Monday that the team has higher expectations for Brown, who started to see his snaps decrease two games ago against Denver. But Brown said no member of the coaching staff has told him what he needs to do better.

“Between a coach and a player, you should always have a conversation,” Brown said. “That conversation should stay between you. But at the same time, if they don’t talk to you or tell you nothing, you have no idea or clue what’s going to happen.”

Brown suspects that coaches may have taken issue with him playing out of the framework of the defense at times. But he says he feels he needs to take chances at times.

“I was doing what they asked me to do, but at the same time, you’ve got to go make a play and I guess they didn’t like that,” Brown said. “So for me, I’m thinking, `What you want me to do?’ … I’m not a robot.

“If you look at all the good players, they all take chances. They all go make plays. You can’t be scared to take chances in this league. Sometimes the chance might win you the game or cost you the game, but at the same time, you’ve got to be the player you are.

“You can’t let nobody change you. You take the coaching and the discipline, but when it comes time to become a football player and the ball is in the air … you’ve got to go get them.”

Brown was pulled against Arizona after the second of two long gains by Andre Ellington – one a run and the other a pass. But Brown said he didn’t have direct responsibility for Ellington on either of those plays.

Munchak had said Brown looked flat at the start of the game, but Brown said Wednesday “I didn’t feel a little flat at all.”
