Okay...So now the same people making the argument that we have played games so tight all season against good teams, want to say that Munch is not the reason? So I'll ask this. Is Mike Munchak the reason that this team is staying in games and keeping them close??? I highly doubt that. This team has talent, and it is not used properly. Munch has won literally 1..uno...game cleanly this year...He cannot keep leads or comeback. He cannot beat divisional teams, and drops games to winless teams, and people have the nerve to defend this guy...Listen, I understand it isn't all on the coach...but how can 3 years of steady DECLINE not influence a negative opinion of him?! It sounds like you guys enjoy being the laughing stock of the division/conference.

Except he completely sold the team out over his feud with Vince Young. Fisher was part of the problem and deserves part of the blame for that entire era of Titans football. And those great years you are talking about happened between 11-15 years ago with the exception of the AH year.

There is a clear lack of culture, identity, and leadership on this team. I suppose that all falls on the "players", right Munch supporters?!

honestly, Greene has carried the load before, and on a Jets team led by Mark Sanchez. Greene is a capable running back that is able to start in this league. I think he is going to suffer from the same thing Jake did, and thats people hoping he fails from the get go because a 'popular' player ahead if him was let go.

I also think people that are blaming a lack of talent, are ignoring player development, which is on coaching. Its evident in the linebackers, offensive line, defensive line, and quarterback play. Every one of those positions either haven't improved, or regressed. IMO, everything goes straight back to coaching.

I can't honestly say I have any reasons why I believe Munch should stay. I'm very down on him as most here. Great guy but not getting it done. But I do see the team still playing hard for whatever reason which accounts for something, IMO. I didn't see that in the final Fisher teams.

And I see a willingness to make changes with players if he feels someone can do a better job.

My goal is to see Tommy or Webster or someone come out and give the fans a full overview of their plan to make the Titans contenders. Obviously, that won't happen. But just firing Munch, IMO, will do little except appease the fan base just until the reality of this roster's talent shows it's limitations next season.

Without upgrades in a lot of areas, we'll be calling for the head of the next guy in three seasons.

Brown is an example of this. Are you saying his regression is on the coaches? He's apparently not playing as well and has been pulled/limited from multiple games. I'm assuming he has been told often what he needed to be doing and simply isn't getting it done.

At some point a player has to do his job or be replaced. That too is the duty of the coaches.

This is a winning roster, doesn't need much tweaking at all.

I think the level of his ineptitude is vastly overblown, he IS keeping games close and he isn't making bone head decisions at any higher rate than most other coaches.

With that being said, he was clearly not a good candidate from the get go and skipped a few positions to get where he is now. He hasn't lost the locker room, but he may have lost a few players, you can tell from Brown. He has however, lost the fan base. You can tell from Sunday when everyone found out about Hunter and Williams being scratches. It was the right move, they broke rules and it was a move everyone would have supported in the first month. Nobody cares about that anymore and you can tell from the stadium. Anything Munch does now is scrutinized beyond belief. Tommy isn't going to being him back again and the empty stadium proved it.

You honestly believe overhauling the coaching staff of an NFL team will do nothing but appease fans?

You think with this roster, a coach's hands would be tied, and we'd get the same results over and over no matter the system, culture, and play calling?

Recent evidence in this league would point to an HC change as doing a little more than merely appeasing fans. There would be change......good or bad. Being witness to three years of Munchak, I'll take my chances.
