I am saying Brown and Ayers, plus Levitre and the rest of the line, but I will get to that in a moment. Start of the year, Brown was hot ****, like talk of DPOY hot ****. After about week 5, it was like someone dumped him in water. I don't know what happened, maybe it was all on him, no one outside of the organization can actually know. You just have to look at everything else, and form your opinion.

Ayers went through the same thing. Last year everyone was excited for him, he got hurt and has played through injury, and its like he isn't even out there. People talk about Britt being a huge disappointment, Brown and Ayers are much bigger IMO. Britt, I believe, is doing this willingly. It also took him far too long to be benched, and honestly, he should have been cut months ago.

I said at the start of the season, that the offensive line might need some time to gel. In the last two weeks that still hasn't happened and far too much talent was brought in just to ignore. Levitre is looking like just as big of a waste of money as Wimbley is and Warmack has made only minor improvements.

I can understand not getting production out of one or *maybe* two of these players, but we haven't been getting any. I guess you could make the case that Levitre is just not playing as hard and Warmack was way overrated from playing with monsters in Bama. Possibly we thought way too much of Ayers and he can't cut it in this system. Brown might have been more raw than we though. I mean, I just can't make myself believe that it doesn't have something to do with coaching, when these were coaches recently brought in by Munch.

Everyone does realize Brown is hurt right? Thats why he's been average out there.

An empty stadium is more a reflection of an apathetic fan base who isn't enjoying the Titans product well enough to give up a day sitting in the cold.

I don't know how much of that is directly a reflection on Munch though he's no doubt part of it.

Heinz Field was half full Sunday night too. It's a NFL issue across the league for most teams out of the playoff picture right now.

PSL owners unwilling to buy their season tickets will be the big indicator.

well the NFL/owners need to do something about making the gameday experience more enjoyable. You can't expect people to sit out in the cold and pay $7 for a ****** beer and be happy, when they could be watching it on their HDTV and have a 6 pack for a much better price.

Point is, if we hadn't lost 5 in a row at home, that stadium wouldn't have been empty.

Then you have Casey, Verner, McCourty, Hunter and Wright all showing major improvement.

Special teams sucked until Wash got in here.

Like you said, we can't know where coaching impacts individual play but I see as many examples of players improving as declining. Problem is, the total product hasn't improved enough.

Not seeing him on any injury reports. Ayers has a groin issue.

Correct, those are really the only players that have improved. Casey is the only one that isn't secondary or receiver, and both of those position coaches I have been high on. I know the argument of positional coaches being overrated went around, and I might agree, if we had hired someone more qualified the Chet P.

Special teams has been awful, I think that was obnoxiously obvious at the start of the season as soon as Marc went down. I am of the opinion that Lowry never should have been let go, Reynaud should have been let go far earlier.

It just seems like any position that Munch touched, turned to dirt. I may be wrong, but I think receiver and secondary coaches have stayed the same.

With this roster with an injury to Locker, I don't think Vince Lombardi would win more than eight or nine games.

A secondary that has played lights out. A DT that's has put up obnoxious sacks, a LB core that flashed last season.. A completely stacked offense starring nearly 3 first round WRs, a playmaking RB and an offensive line that by all means should have been blowing people off the line...

I don't get it. Where are these major talent lapses?

well, at QB and defensive end. We are not world beaters, that is for sure. I still think that us lacking major talent is wrong, we do lack it in the most important areas. Still not an excuse to lose to JAX and get swept by Indy.
