It blows my mind that they may force him to make changes. If you have to force a guy to make changes to his staff, he isn't worth keeping around, this is where our problems actually originate from. Front office brass have been too friendly with the staff.

Exactly. What's the point in having a head coach that you have to make all his decisions for him because he's not capable?

They hired Munchak to be the HC. They should let him be the HC and hire (stick with) who he wants. There's no sense in trying to patchwork his staff every year, if they don't like who he hired and they feel he's losing games because of it.....move on.

They shouldn't hold his hand; let him make the decisions that are his responsibility to make. If they believe those decisions hinder the team from winning, then they have their answer.

I like how rotoworld says how most of us are feeling over here as Titan fans.

"One of the leagues most DYSFUNCTIONAL franchises"

"Lacked vision since parting ways with Fisher."

I agree, even though we have a ton of Fisher-haters in here, at least we had SOMEWHAT of an identity here in Nashville. I know it wasn't always great and the defense wasn't solid every year but during his tenure outsiders would normally call the Titans a "Defensive Team" "Hard-Hitting, Chippy ... etc"

With Munchak were nothing ... zero ... no identity no direction. I realize it's not ALL Munch's fault, this franchise needs to be gutted from top to bottom including all of the staff but even then I dont know how the Titans will suddenly have a "direction" or something they will be known for?

Does it have to be a big name coach to take over the entire team and implement some-kind of a new structure? Or does this have to come from the very top - the GM / Owner someone who can put a fist down on crucial decisions for the better of the team and somehow bring in some stars and/or draft a lot better than in the past ...

This IDENTITY has to come from somewhere but where?!

it's not going to come from Munch that is for sure, or loggains or gray! We need a new coaching staff with a re energized level to come in and take over this franchise. Tommy boy, make the dam decision already!!

Yea I think munch's delay is from the pen state issue.

It's ironic that the Texans have free'd up our ability to search for a better coach :)

I disagree. We had an identity under Fisher and had a lot of really good seasons. 13-3 in 2008.
