    So yesterday it was McNulty and now this guy is the front runner. Another example that the media has no idea what is going on.

    Regardless of who we bring in, I think he needs to be a good player developer specifically QB developer. I could care less about anything else.

    I think Whiz is a good developer as well. He was the OC in Pittsburgh Ben's rookie season and stayed with him for four seasons.

    Then he moved on to Arizona where he revived Warner's career. Then to SD where he revived Rivers's career.

    I think it's just a matter of finding a good QB in the draft, and he'll be able to develop him.

    I read in another thread that this guy is who developed Antonio Gates into the monster he has been. Sounds like a good hire to me.

    That's true. That's one reason why I think Locker isn't done yet. He is far more talented than anyone of the post Warner era in Arizona, and if Whisenhiunt was able to go 8-8 with Skelton and Kolb as QB, then we have a lot of reasons to be excited.

    The last 9 games of 2011, he went 7-2 with John Skleton, who couldn't even beat out Rusty Smith for 3rd stringer, as his starting QB.
