I didn't see him use much speed this year. So yea, he didn't seem fast to me anymore

How come he doesn't do it more consistently then? If he is so fast, how come he hasn't had more break out runs?

4 mil is a lot of money, and the future money in '15 and '16 will also be saved. 4 mil can be used or cut up to help resign ppl like Verner and Pollard. This helps fill those holes. Why leave that money on the table?

Do be straight, I don't think we can really say anyone on the Titans last year put this team on their back and was a true playmaker. So when I mention Wright I am speaking in relative terms.

TDs don't matter unless you get close to the red zone, and I believe Wright helped us keep drives alive by constantly catching balls between the numbers, taking crazy hits, and catching horribly thrown balls. He may not have gotten TDs but he was absolutely helped set us up for them. Something CJ failed to do consistently.

Again, Wright isn't making 8 mil, CJ is about to. We automatically hold him to higher standards.

You are gonna sit there and type out that 2013 CJ is just as fast as 2010. I want to see you type this.

If we cut him after this year we save that money from '15 and '16 as well so really this is the only year we have to eat money. Also, as I was saying before, we're going to have to sign someone to run for us, and the cheapest you're going to get a decent rb in FA is $4 mil. Add that to the $4mil of dead money we're paying to CJ and our RB still costs $8 mil and we save nothing. I don't see a late round rookie RB coming in and lighting it up and we can't afford to spend an early pick on a RB with all the other areas we need to improve in. There are so many other players hurting us cap wise that can be cut instead of CJ that legitimately suck. If we want to resign Verner and Pollard there should definitely be enough room.

Bingo. Cutting CJ isn't the dire necessity some on here pretend it is. The only reason they push for it so hard is because they don't like him. As well as Nate has been playing, he's not going to be worth the 4.8 mil he'll get next season and we have 2 guys who can replace his production but to even mention cutting or trading him is heresy here. Why? Because they like him.

Pound for pound Nate is better. Thats the reason.
All you CJ lovers cant provide 1 reason to keep him can you... So you guys make it about the fans who dont like him as if theres something wrong with all of us.

Yes Chris Johnson has talent, but hes killing us. When will you see that?

Because it's hard to accelerate through 240-340 pound men.
