I understand that you said Johnny football has poor mechanics like Vince Young, but mechanics are not nearly the only attribute that makes up a QB...are they? And that's not the post I was responding to. It was your post that said Manziel was the shorter, whiter version of Vince Young that I was responding to.

I agree that his mechanics are poor like Vince's were, but his accuracy and his intelligence make him a better QB. So, no I wasn't going around what you said at all actually.

If he hadn't missed the Manning camp, then maybe I would say this guy has the discipline to correct his flaws. I just don't see it, he is going to spend his first year running around all over the place. Where his crazy stunts worked in the NCAA, they are going to be turnovers here. Corners know how to cover here. Its going to be a whole nother world for Manziel. His second year is when you are going to see if he can make it or not.

I think he'll start adapting to the pro game before week 1 of the preseason. He is highly competitive, he wil work his a## off.

I'm not trying to down play the manning camp incident, but have any good qbs come out of this camp? I really don't know and could only find that wilson went to jr.

Its how he ended up not going to the camp. I'd imagine that is a hell of an opportunity for a QB in college.

Like I said, not downplaying it at all. Just wondering. I just don't see him making this type of mistake in the nfl. The money won't change him, he's had money for a while. I do think he needs good leaders around him in the beginning, but he will become that guy once he sees how much different the pros are from college and that won't take long. I also can only find positives about his work ethic, besides this one incident.
