Actually, I enjoy that beer but isn't the reason.

Wheat beers are by far my favorite though

I'm with you on that one. Ever get a chance to go to The Flying Saucer they have a full menu of beers with a huge section of Wheat beers. Can't go wrong just closing your eyes and pointing to your next beer! Just saw they have one in Nashville now...

I wasn't sure if esc would even know what DFH beer even was since they are more around my area PA and I'm assuming a lot of you are further south. If you can find it try Namaste by Dogfish Head seeing you enjoy wheat beers. I usually like darker beers but wheat is preferable in spring/summer.

Loved Pito last season. Glad to see our new staff has an eye for talent. This may explain Vern's statements about us making moves that will make it harder to keep him. Maybe he knew about these deals long before we did. I wonder if this means that keeping Vern isn't exactly priority #1 on our off season to do list.

Great signing. You don't want to have to spend an early draft pick on a run stuffing 3-4DE.

I still think that finding a MLBer has to be our #1 priority in FA.

I want Verner to be re-signed because of keeping our secondary together, but also because it sends the message to younger players that if you work hard, produce, and are a good citizen that we will pay to keep you on the team. I think in terms of the culture of the franchise this is important. However from a GMs standpoint I can see many reasons not to pay for Verner. We already have paid a young CB #1 money. We have just drafted Wilson and Sensabaugh who should be ready to compete for the starting spot. Also drafting a CB in the 1st or 2nd makes sense from a cap standpoint to replace a guy who will cost a pretty penny with a cheaper player.

Verner should test the FA market and see what he can get. If our number is close to what he gets offered on the open market then I would expect him back. I think he will get more than we are willing to pay.
