In a broadcast Paul Kuharsky did in front of LP Field this week, for ESPN, he proclaimed that the Titans organization still kept large "pin up" posters of Eddie George, Jevon Kearse and Frank Wycheck around the outside of the stadium. He also stated that in one particular spot that is now vacant, hung the poster of Mike Munchak recently taken down that is soon to be replaced by one of Ken Whisenhunt.

Kuharsky states that even though these great Titans players of the past remind Titan fans of "what once was," it doesn't warrant the right attention and excitement the teams fan base should be coming to see on Sundays during the fall here at LP Field. He goes on to say that "new aged big named players" should be seen along the walls outside the stadium going into this new coaching era. And more importantly, even though Frank Wycheck and Eddie George broadcast the games today, their names are out dated and unimportant to Titan fans today.

Paul, I humbly and strongly disagree. The only pleasure I get out of my Titans as a die hard fan as of late, is remembering what once was, and how good those players were and how well they played together. Current players and coaching members should take notes.

Maybe instead of doing ESPN broadcast about "former Titan players on posters" being the "wrong message" to the fans, I'd concentrate on the 2014 season and what Ken Whisenhunt and company need to do to win a Division Title and NFL Championship for the fans and city of Nashville.

I agree with him. The posters of player should be current players. Player greats are honored inside te stadium on the ring of honor.

And what new players have performed (won games) to the level of those guys? I'm sure those pics would have come down if we had a run of more recent greats. We've fired our only HOFers. CJ? Nate? Roos? Who would we put up there?

I am becoming a BIG fan of PK. This is 100% warranted. You could argue that he is helping this franchise as much as anyone.
