The 4 top Qb prospects would be in the 15-30 range if i rate them honestly.

How do you feel about taking Gilbert at #11?

I would hate it because Dennard is better and I don't want a CB at 11 cause I don't think it will be BPA.

For some reason both Davis and Jeremiah think the Lions will take him at 10. They must know something. Especially since Dennard played at Mich st.

I have no problem with that pick but i would like Wreh-Wilson to step up and be a starter for us. He was drafted to start on the outside not to be a slot guy. A high third rd pick entering his 2nd season needs to do more than cover kicks and punts.

I do think Gilbert is the best DB in the draft.

Why do some oif you rate Ealy as a top 11 player? You impressed by an edge rusher with defensive tackle speed? He ran a 4.92.

Or you were impressed with his pathetic vertical and broad jump results which indicate he has no lower body explosion at all?

Now JPP is an exception in that his vertical and broad jump also were poor and he has been a good player but he ran a 4.71 40 not a 4.92.

Most of the top edge rushers in the nfl demonstrated lower body explosiveness in their workouts. Jared Allen, Von Miller, Demarcus Ware for example.

He's only like 21 and hasn't fully developed yet. But even the player he is now, he's shown an ability to get to the QB and has great size. Watch the tape of the SEC Championship game, he was all over the place. Also has a knack for knocking the ball loose and creating turnovers.

A disclaimer on mine, I had him rated as on of my top 11 players, but only if we tried to trade down. I still think if we traded, say with Miami at 19, he would still be on the board and be a better value there.

Half the guys in this draft are 21 years old. And 6'4 275 is good size for a DE not great size. Mario Williams would be an example of a guy with great size. JJ Watt another. Ealy was the 2nd best pass rusher on that team and his 40 time suggests he is not fast enough to turn the coner on quality nfl OTs.

If you are picking at the end of the 1st rd you might look at him but 11th? No way!

And you can't pound the table that this is the 5th best player in the draft and then talk about trading back to get him.
