After losing his 3rd consecutive playoff game to the Chargers in the 2013 wildcard round, Bengals owner/fans/and others are now on the fence about QB Andy Dalton's future with the team.

In 2011 and 2012 just like last year the Bengals were a 1-and-done team in January, which has now raised the question, is Andy Dalton a franchise QB...

Here are the latest QB contracts given out:
    3/20/2012: Peyton Manning signed for five-years $96M
    7/13/2012: Drew Brees signed for five-years $100M
    3/1/2013: Joe Flacco signed for six-years $120.6M
    3/29/2013: Tony Romo signed for seven-years $119.5M
    4/26/2013: Aaron Rodgers signed for seven-years $130.75M
    7/25/2013: Matt Ryan signed for six-years $113.75M
    1/2/2014: Jay Cutler signed for seven-years $126.7M

In 2015 when Dalton does or doesn't hit the market he could be competing with the likes of Cam Newton, Mike Vick, or Tom Brady as the next QB to get paid, as well as an entire draft class. that could be tempting enough for Bengals owner Mike Brown to say goodbye to Dalton.

What is Andy Dalton's worth in your opinion?

Andy Dalton might make a decent backup.

    Andy Dalton

Another QB praised and hyped going into the draft.

Another QB not worth a damn.

He's next in line to get PAID, he's not taking a back-up job.

he might not have a soul but that soulless ******* sure can throw. Half the credits go to aj green but I think it'd be an upgrade pending on how Locker fares this season.

That Mike Brown article is hooey. He is a business man and knows how to fire up the pressure cooker.
They love Dalton and will extend him. Better than anything we've had since McNair..
Gruden sucked and put too much on Dalton - without anyone lining up opposite Green.
Hue will pound the rock and hopefully they get somebody that draws coverage on the other side..

He's not KFC bad, KFC took like 10 years in the league before he broke 4000-yards passing in a season, Dalton just did that in his 3rd.
